The second one had good backstab and parry strike animations. I don't know why it was removed from third game. Have you seen backstab with a scythe?

Actually I'm too scared to take this bet. Sequels proved a great love for killing iconic characters, because it makes them more "dramatic" and "groundbreakin" and "serious" (I'm looking at you Star Wars).

Personally, I couldn't enjoy sequels and remakes for years. Total Recall I found boring, Poltergeist was cringe and facepalm worthy for me, and I stayed away from any Alien franchiese after AVP failed all my hopes after the quite enjoyable FPS game.
