American football is like Rugby. As it is played in America, as the name implies, everyone is afraid of getting sued so all the players wear suits of armour. And they still get totally fucked up. That is because American Football players are twice as big as rugby players. But if they're all twi...

Considering human beings were used as the basis for them -- I don't see what you're trying to get at. Obviously that perhaps human--true human--emotions are much too complex to digitaly duplicate and the result is a more animalistic entity. Because something is based on something else doesn...

IMHO, the entry-plug can best be compared to some form of artifical intelligence. Like a computer application, it performs it's assigned task or it exits. Since you can't copy the mind or the soul it lacks humanity, and thus is basicaly the part of Rei that is completely inhuman. If it'...

I hate how Sadamoto changed the kiss scene. He's a Rei fanboy, alas. I also really like it when he defended Rei from Kaworu's insult after the 16th angel, I do admit Asuka is slightly bitchier in the manga, but then again she's Asuka she's always bitchy, but cool in her own way. The...

They were everywhere in the city, but OH CRAP Rei blew it up. Besides this battle was in the Geofront so there is no telling if they had power cables all over it since they didn't really expect to fight in it. Yeah, lets built a fortress based on layered defense--essentialy a hedgehog defense--...

Considering how much Asuka could do in the time it took her to fight the MPEs, she may well have had time to send the JSSDF running before they could have completed their takeover of NERV if they hadn't been sent out. That always seemed to me to be the reason why the MPEs were sent. If Unit 02 ...

So is mine. It doesn't matter. Make sure you work with as a high a canvas as you can on the screen, but the size of the table is not a big deal. Illustrator is mostly a vector based program, if you want to color use either Photoshop or Painter. For lineart, you want to set your brush at 75% oppa...

Yep. Lineart on top layer, set to multiply. Works wonders. Also, a tablet helps... a lot.

Um, as I general rule I don't like messing with other people's stuff, but since I can't resist and got nothing to do, here's the original. I cleaned it up a little. [URL=http://img49.imageshack.us/my.php?image=asukaplug1big9.jpg] http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/5563/asukaplug1big9.t...

I know. I saw the original sketch and thought it kinda looked better because the lines are more well defined (I'll post it if I can get permision), but then I looked at the version with this filter and damn if she doesn't look in agony, which I was told is the point. Poor Asuka. I wa...

Most reports indicate that Anno does not care that much about Eva. Care to provide sources that definitively render Anno's stance on this work? (While taking into consideration the evolution of his mindset and all that.) My own fairly uneducated impression is that he is a rather complic...

Occam's Razor, people. Personaly, I think it'ss clear, considering that EoE ends in Exogenesis, that this is also how life on Earth got started. Whether there is an ancestral race or not, it seem a result, or after-effect of Instrumentality, that the tools for it are ejected into space after...
