For the record, i'd rather not have Hollywood do a live action EVA. At least not with the current film market, which I think is rather shallow. I think one should wait some 5, 10 years and see what James Cameron has done with Avatar and/or Battle Angel. And see how they are received by the mains...

Many David Lynch movies have the whole "what the hell just happened" thing going. But I can think of nothing that is as entertaining yet at the same time deep and fulfulling as Evangelion.

As far as I'm concerned NGE's english dub was not all that bad all things considered. There are a few exceptions, like Ritsuko, who is just plain terrible. In general I think the male english dubs are better than the female ones. That's just my opinion.
