^ Just noticed. So sad, especially after Megaupload just became, at least for me, THE file sharing service. No strange capchas, no waiting after a download, no file limits, 200GB per account. Bye EDIT: Am I the only one unable to get to the home page, or even ping, the US Department of Justice home ...

Well... I have a lot of otaku friends in RL, many are girls. Unfortunately I can't see all of them very often, some only once or twice a month. Usually we try to make 3 or 4 anime nights per year. The first one of the last year was at my place, watching Evangelion: 1.01 and 2.22, last one was a ...

The first revision of the article on Wikipedia references the 2006 evangelion.co.jp website ( that I can't read because is in Japanese, so I cannot say if "Rebuild" is clearly indicated as a provisional title ), so using the term Rebuild at that time was IMHO correct. Today I w...

Like Reichu, I usually use the term EVA when referring to Evangelion in general. But, when talking with others EVA fans I know, usually "Rebuild" is the favourite term when referring to the tetralogy because: -Is shorter than "Nuova Versione Cinematografica" ( Italian ), ...

Considering that the last two years were pretty good for me ( more or less ) but pretty bad for the world, I'm a little worried...

To you who said you weren't watching Diebuster/Gunbuster 2 because of ONE exaggerated and rather biased review, WATCH IT. It is a great work in its own right; it has some different elements to it than the original but I and many others found it to be a wonderful companion to the original Gunbus...

Eva is a story with almost infinite meanings: every time you watch or think about it you can find a different one.

I just finished seeing Nadia right now and I agree with the opinion that the Africa arc is the worst part of the show ( special prize for ep.34 nevertheless ), followed by the island arc. Ep. 35 is probably my favourite, could it be because is mostly B&W ( with the exception of the &...

Interesting read. Honestly this scene has always been a mystery to me, and this was greatly helpful. [..] Same for me. I didn't ever understand what this scene means and as of today your analysis is on of the simplest and most convincing I found. I think it's somehow peculiar how both Rei a...

I agree with symbv, Japanese is too difficult to learn, even for a genius like Asuka :toothy: ( something that make me think about how buggy the plot of Fast & Furious 3 is ). Seriously speaking, I believe Asuka really IS smart, but I think she's unable to react in the right way duri...

Well, I'm not a native English speaker ( and I suppose you already figured that out ), but I assume that even in English there are words that could be used instead of the various honorifics. In the Italian dub for instance, when Shinji call for "Misato-san" during the battle wi...

Besides being a very good series by itself, it's worth watching Diebuster just for the amazing ending (and some jaw dropping animation as well) . You're making a huge mistake not even checking it out just because of some extremely over exaggerated review. You should think of it as O...

I like really a lot soundtracks from Shiro Sagisu, and althrough I really loved some tracks of the FMP OST by Toshihiko Sahashi, as of today I'd say Kohei Tanaka from GunBuster.

Replying to an almost one year old post... but BTW I've seen GunBuster two days ago, I've finally found the time and will to watch it. It was strange to see the "prototypes" ( as I like to say ) of the characters and the situations in Nadia and NGE ( from the similariti...

Anything is possible, but BTW as far as I remember Wikipedia always stated that Rebuild 3.0 & 4.0 release date would have been the same... in 2010.

Sure something has changed in the meantime.
