Hmm. I created this thread to try out a theory which might resolve some of the conundrums about Kaworu without invoking looping (which was widely considered unacceptable); but now it seems to be turning into a stronghold of making that very looping more respectable!

Doesn't mean we have to like it just because the Japanese do, though.
