I love Christmas. Not for all of the presents and all that though; I just like the atmosphere that comes along with it. Hell, I even like the cheesy holiday music they insist on playing over the Satellite Radio all day at work.

Just because the company is called "Lucasfilm" doesn't mean it's a one-man shop... True, but let's not kid ourselves; George Lucas DOES have final say on all things Star Wars. If he wants a Blu Ray release, it'll happen sooner rather than later. But he'd rather hold ou...

Maybe Georgey boy should focus on getting Star Wars Blu Ray's out BEFORE he get's started on another redundant re-release. And what ever happened to the promised Live Action Series? Oh, that's right. "The live action TV show is kind of on hold because we have scripts, but we don'...

I realize the show has had wrestling for a while, but for the several years I haven't watched the channel, looking at what it has now is odd. Well, If if the Undertaker is still making lighting bolts strike the ring, and raising people from the dead, it doesn't get much more Science Fiction...

I've been thinking about joining the Air Force in a couple of months, so I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to get my fatass into shape. A word of the wise to anyone thinking about trying a Ketogenic diet; your breath will stink, your head will hurt, and you WILL think that heartburn...

I caught the first episode of Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin . I hope it doesn't end up in a boy-love sort of way. But 'twas really impressing. A friend of mine recommend Rainbow to me, and I'll admit that it wasn't half bad. It seems like a Japanified version of 'Prison Br...

The best show hands down from this period is Kimi ni Todoke Sora no woto. Not that there was any competition there. Thanks for responding guys. I YouTubed both of these shows, and I think I'm going to go with Sora no woto, for now anyway. If it sucks, I can always drop it and give Todoke a shot.

Hey guys, can you help a brother out? I'm rather bored at the moment, and I think a little anime might fill the gap in my schedule, but I don't feel like sifting through hundreds of blog reviews. What would you say was the best show from the Winter Season?

This isn't really relevant to the whole Conan/Leno issue, but it still made me laugh.

Re: Snowpocalypse 2010

I'm also downloading the AVP demo from LIVE. I can't wait to play. I played a smidgen of it yesterday, and didn't really care for it. Never had the chance to play as a Predator, but admittedly, playing as the 'Alien' was pretty kewl. Climbing around on the ceiling and then dropp...

Woo! Got the thing with EA cleared up, so now I have mah blackhole gun. Glad to hear you got your problem cleared up Morgan. My troubles seem to be a thing of the past as well. Remember when I said I couldn't get Legion to survive the Suicide Mission? Well, as it turns out, it wasn't his fa...

How'd you do with the suicide mission? Managed to only lose one member of the team...though he was one of my favorites. RIP Legion. Dude, don't even get me started on that. The first time I did it, I lost 3 people; Legion, Grunt, and Zaeed. I chose Legion to go through the vents, and he was...

Holy mother of God. Mass Effect 2, has got to be GOTY. Agreed. I've put in something like 30 hours in the last week into ME2. They did such an excellent job of addressing the complaints from the first game that there's virtually nothing left to hate . No, it's not perfect (the comba...

Folks around here can take themselves a little too seriously at times, but I've always appreciated the fact that things are so neat and tidy. I tried visiting another forum once a couple of years ago. My first attempt at a post was pretty respectable. You know, like, I made an actual effort to f...

I was watching what I guess was Wednesday's show last night and they made it seem like Conan could still use his skits on other networks, unless I misunderstood. According to IGN, he won't be able to use any of his old skits because NBC owns the rights to them. Why they think they have to h...

Apparently, as part of his deal for leaving NBC, Conan is barred from using any of his old comedy bits on another network.

We may never see this guy again. :crybaby:

Here's another article that put's things into perspective from Jay's point of view. It really gives traction to the argument that Jimbo was making; Leno was mostly ignorant of what he was really agreeing to, and NBC is run by a bunch of fucking artards. http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?...
