Ugh, somehow I manage to completely walk pass the Evangelion store on Takeshita-dori back in April. Didn't even realise until I got back home, haha.

Sucks.

There's always the next time though!

I should probably take the opportunity to mention something that I felt when I first watched the scene in question as well. I mentioned it in my post in the 'Welcome' thread that I only just recently watched the Rebuild movies. It was a couple months ago after returning from another trip to ...

Not reading it at the moment but I finished up the available Song of Ice and Fire books a couple months ago. They're amazing, haha - Defintely right up there with The Wheel of Time for me. Now we are going to have to wait another three/four years at least till Martin releases The Winds of Winter...

Shinji's always had a backbone. You don't get in a giant robot and go toe to toe with Zeruel without a backbone! One of the biggest mistakes people make when analyzing Shinji is assuming that cluelessness and social naivete amount to cowardice, which is not the case. He's not afraid of ...

Thanks for the links Ornette. I was using the thread list search - Didn't realise there was a proper search function, haha (I see now that they're two different links up the top). Sorry.

Unit-01 at the End of 2.0

Hey guys, I'm still new and can't work the thread search function properly - So please link me if I should just bump an older thread instead. I was just wondering how Unit-01 'awakens' at the end of 2.0 in Rebuild. Thinking about it briefly myself, I came to the conclusion that Unit-...

Something like this would be perfect! Did you make this or is it from around the internet?

I agree with Shinji by himself on the stairs for 4.0/Final poster - I could easily see it.

For me, beautiful is definitely the word when describing Evangelion - I've always felt as such. On the topic of partners: I showed NGE to my GF recently and she now loves it (Awesome, right?). It may have helped that I was able to explain a lot of her questions whilst working through the...

Comics: What are you reading?

Tried searching but couldn't find a general comics thread (please link me if there is one already). So, who else is into the medium - Comics, graphic novels, whatever? I mostly just do trade paperbacks due to a lack of a local store but that changed a couple weeks ago... So I may even st...

Been playing a lot of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike online on Supercade recently. Very addictive. Easily the best SF title followed by SSF2T HD Remix and SSFIV: Arcade Edition. Alex and Ken FTW! About a month ago I also bought Shogun 2: Total War for PC. After disc installation though, Steam wanted...

Absolutely! The past three times I've come back with two Disk Union record bags jammed pack, haha. Very stressful when bringing back on the plane though. Couldn't imagine what it would be like for dudes who buy crates and crates worth (I know a few who have too). Thanks for the welco...

Hi everyone. My name's Bryce. 22 years of age and I live in Cairns, Queensland - Australia. I've been an Evangelion fan for almost 13 years now. I first saw the series when it aired initially on Australian television back in 1999. I think I was 10 at the time and it blew my mind. Ever since ...
