On a slightly darker yet humorous side. We could always kidnap Anno and (using psychological torture) force him into a pit of depression. While in this poor mental state, we would infuse subliminal visions of a sequel to eva with the promise of salvation and freedom from his resurrected inne...

I would prefer to see a prequel. A sequel would not have a place in the timeline. While a prequel may help reveal some of the mysteries of the series, it would also make the original series seem less magical in a way. An alternate universe OVA; which rearranges events, characters, and world may not ...

Indeed, that does look accurate in contrast to the first picture. I knew that only part of the Geofront was exposed, but I didn't realize the entire sphere was that large  Excellent find!

Indeed, the commentary does make the statement that Asuka’s are brown. Oddly enough I find this shameful to think that someone who worked on the English Version of the show would make such a mistake. It is outrageous (flaming ambers burst forth from my ears, and lighting leaps from my tong)...

EOE is definitely one of the most detailed anime movies of all time. This detail may account for the misjudgment of the eye color. Asuka’s eyes are clearly blue, but they look kind of dark (or brownish) due to the lighting and the scenery. The Idea that Asuka is a combination of all three ...

And the Angel was Silent...(Spoiler Alert be advised)

:!: Warning this topic will cover spoiler material for those who haven’t watched the entire NGE series! :!: The question is simply this, If you could have been in Shinji’s position at the climax of episode 24, could you have killed Kaworu? I decided not to make this a yes or no forum; because I ...

At this point a release of Eva 2 outside of Japan is unknown. There is a petition to bring the game stateside here [url]http://www.petitiononline.com/evagame/petition.html I would like to play this game, just for the fun of it. I don't have a chip to play Japanese PS2 games, so an english versio...

Well, I kind of wonder What kind of household would one have if Gendo or Kozo were a member of it? Gendo would be great for board games like Chess, Monopoly, or Risk (definitely Risk). Kozo Fuyutsuki seems like a very nice and comfortable person to be around, he reminds me of Rei in many way...

I guess, the choice would come down to Rei or Kaoru. Rei would be awesome to live with. I like the fact that she is calm and introverted. I could actually have a few decent conversations about human nature when I come home. Ask for Kaoru, the same deal. He would be an awesome friend to have. I would...

While we are on the subjecy Abaddon, what part (if any) of Eva disturbs you? Any ideas why? I covered what parts of evangelion disturbed me the most in an earlier reply in this topic. Those are not the only parts of evangelion that disturb me, although other images disturb me more then othe...

Personal, I believe it was someone from Seele that drove home the fatal shots. According to Anno, it was a third parity figure who killed him. Maybe 2015 holds some clues. Which is why I plan on winning it  hold your horses there pilgrim (said in a Clint Eastwood accent) I am Abadd...

The eva to pilot relationship can be hard to understand I would surmise that the reason Asuka suffered real wounds in EoE was due to her hight synch ratio at the time. It could be that if Asuka would been connected to the eva at the time eva-02 suffered decapitation it would have caused her great pa...

See, this is much better. Did u know, when eva-01 went berserk on eva-03, Shinji also felt the eva’s lustful fury. Evangelions and the Pilots are also connected on the Psychological level. When Gendo activated the dummy Plug and ordered it to destroy eva-03, Shinji also felt the eva’s bloodlust....

In my humble opinion, if, Asuka would have remained connected to the eva during the severing of eva-02 head. It would have caused her great physical pain. She would have probably went into shock. But I will not go as far as to say the effect of having eva-02 head severed would led to Asuka's immedia...
