It wouldn't really fit Rei's charcter to be so reactive all the time. Obviously Asuka can be arrogant, but it doesn't suit Rei to resort to violence, let alone even words. Though I can't lie, the slap scenes are to kill for. :3

Favorite anime other than evangelion(Not in any particular order):

I feel as though shipping isn't entirely a bad thing. The thing about shipping that bothers me is when someone ships and insist they are absolutely right, when in turn they are just theorizing.

A friend strongly encouraged me to watch Evangelion. It took me awhile to actually get to watching it, but once I did it was easily my favorite anime, and still is to date.
