So wonderful watching Aki discover all the amazing things there are in the world full of people. And seeing Shinji and Asuka get a chance to be more normal parents for her. You're making me want to go carry my daughters around on my shoulders.

One of these days I'm going to have to comb through this thread and paste all the bits into a chronological doc. Excellent stuff, Bagheera. I'm enjoying it, though I wonder that it would take 11 years and a mildly-grown daughter befor Asuka admits they've basically been married for over a decade. :P...

Saying some renditions of Asuka's hair are 'too orange' feels a bit off when I know people with hair color like that. My beard used to grow out that bright copper color too, though it's darkened now. I have to throw a wrench in your work. You missed one of the only other hard dates in the series: 21SEP15, Asuka's first day of school. At the very end of Episode 8, she arrives at school to Shinji and the Stooges horror, and writes her name on the board to introduce herself. The date is written...

I was sorely tempted, really. They would have worked out as a trio just fine, given how I'd built it up. I just need Rei paired with someone else for the plot I've got laid out. I have given some thought to writing a 123 trio in my next story, but that's a ways off if so.

A completion for Polyphemus would be wonderful. It left off just as big things were about to happen!

Ouch. Shades of the aching, empty pain from the beginning montage from UP! I don't suppose we'll get any more explanation of the apparent appearance of Rei and Kaworu from Shinji's deathbed, Ryuko's lack of surprise and request, and why she didn't seem to mention it to anyone else?

I'm writing a AxS fic called Advice & Trust that unplanned by me has drifted strongly towards AxSxR. Rei has in fact fallen rather well in love with AxS, but because she cares for them refuses to make a move, lest she disrupt their bond with each other. She won't end up with them, alas. ...

And even after all that's happened, he's still so afraid of Shinji, others, and opening up at all... There's just no helping you, is there, Gendo? It makes you wonder at how Yui got to him at all, and just underlines how desperate he was to get her back...
