Re: Official Departures Thread [2]

I guess I might as well make it official. Is clear my politics and pessimistic attitude have alienated more than a few people on this forum. On top of all the genuinely awful stuff that's happening in our real world, and the real world problem of my garage being turned into a burnt out husk. There's...

Re: FML general thread [8]

Thinking this way is a known and documented cognitive distortion that is a component of a depressive mindset. You're a mod right? Have you not seen my posts? I'm pessimistic about everything, human nature, death, the futility and nihilism of our modern world. It's insane. It's worth reminding yours...

Re: FML general thread [8]

While I was away from the house helping my dad with his job to earn some spending money, my mother (somehow) set the garage on fire completely by accident while she was cleaning it. (This is all secondhand from her BTW as I wasn't there when it happened). It was a small fire, but there was a lot of ...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

magical shopping arcade abenobashi I laughed, loud and hard. I really like how the first episode is relatvely muted and realistic until the balls to the walls insanity happens. I also like how Arumi starts out as the reasonable one, and then as the series goes on she progressively loses it until sh...

Re: Superhero Films & TV

I have no high hopes for the DC Cinematic Universe, and am still looking ahead into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a stopwatch, clocking the exact moment it collapses upon itself.

Just keep rubbing the salt in the wounds why don't ya? :headbeat:

the skydiving episode of KOTH was easily one of the most dramatic of the series.

Re: Shinji a Misogynist?

He definitely has issues. . . but I don't think he HATES women. Maybe when as he got older and progressively more bitter (read, like his father) then maybe he'd have a interest in them ONLY to gratify himself (like Gendo with Ritsuko). But he wouldn't go out of his way to hurt them. I mean, think ab...

The Gods Lie: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/thumbnails/hotlink-crop600x315/cms/review/101660/gods-lie.jpg No gods, no monsters, no magical girls, no ghosts (not the supernatural kind anyway). Just a nice, short, gentle, innocent, but suprisingly dramatic one-volume romance Manga that deals with s...

Re: Not Your Average Day - Weird Stuff Thread

In the aftermath of new years I was going to Church with my mom for the first time since September. And on the way there was a traffic jam. What caused the traffic Jam? Panties. Dozens of em. I wish I were kidding. There were panties, green, black, red etc. All over the side of the road. Some in the...

Thanks for making the banner happy Misato and not Q - Captain Doom face Misato. We need something positive to start this year off after 2016. A year that will live in Infamy.

Re: 2016 Positivity Thread (Good things that happened, you came across, etc.)

Well we had a lot of Anniversaries. Pokemons 20th, Star Trek's 50th, Batman's 50th, and dozens more. The New 52 ended and DC Rebirth is kicking total ass in terms of quality of art and story. Deadpool was awesome, and Star Wars: Rogue One, easily made this whole friggin' year worth it. Other than th...

http://batman-news.com/2016/12/29/gal-gadot-wonder-woman-world-war-1-setting/ The director of Wonder Woman talks about the movie and the town she was going for while she directed it. We may be getting a Gremilin's sequel/reboot. But this comes from a dubious source so take it with a grain of salt http://www.interestingnewsnow.com/gremlins-3-update-chris-columbus-aggressively-working-on-a-sequel/ Here's a few things WB can do to NOT to ruin it like the millions of other reboots i...
