X Japan concert at MSG tonight

It continually baffles me that amazingly successful bands like X Japan cannot break into the mainstream music scene in the USA. I was pleased to hear that they are doing Madison Square Garden tonight but I don't think it was sold out and I heard a large part of the tickets were sold to Japanese ...

Holy crap.
I don't know which is crazier: that someone created such a language or that anyone bothered to try writing a program in it.
Interesting read, but I think I'll stick with .NET!

Wow, SawItAt10... Normally I skip posts as long as yours, but I'm glad I read it. Thanks for your heartfelt sharing of an experience which was pivotal in your personal development. It's too bad your mom didn't take the opportunity to engage in constructive conversations with you, rather ...

My vicious cycle:

1) Buy bread from store.
2) Make sandwich.
3) Forget about bread.
4) Remember bread after it has expired.
5) Throw away 95% of loaf.

Repeat.

Magnetic rose is definitely one of my favorites. Nearly 20 years later the animation still looks fantastic.

The triggers are certainly one of the biggest weaknesses in Sony's controller. I'm excited that with the PS4 Sony is FINALLY making more than minor revisions to the Dual Shock.
LONG overdue.

You know, by the end of the original series I expected "WTF moments" from Eva. The true WTF moment for me was at the beginning of the series, during the first angel attack. When Unit 01 quickly went from near destruction to a savage (and apparently pilotless) victory, I remember be...

I honestly don't remotely like or care for Tom Cruise. But I was floored by his performance in Collateral. Jamie Foxx was great too. The way those two characters played off each other... hated each other, liked each other, and cut each other to the bone... it was chilling. Unfortunately no one e...

About 15 years ago I walked into an anime store and was looking at all the Eva wallscrolls. I asked the clerk "what's 'eeva'?". He said "it's 'ayva'," and then proceeded to tell me how it was the best anime ever. I then rented every VHS (yes... VHS)...

Another Battle Angel fan here. I had that robovixen all over my dorm room walls back in the day. Too bad they didn't make more OVAs.

The Last Starfighter Oh man... I grew up idolizing this movie. I doubt I knew what 3D animation was at the time, but I certainly liked what I saw. Interestingly, this was the first movie to try and pass off animated sequences as photo-real. It looks terrible by today's standards. But it was gro...

Hello!
I'm new here and I was a big fan of Eva when I was in college. I kind of lost touch with it and just recently revisited the series and remembered how much I loved it!
