Re: Final Fantasy series

I for example played VII and VIII on "rich friend's" console since I couldn't afford my own as a kid and I enjoyed them. FF X was the first Final Fantasy I could get on my own and I loved it. FF X-2 was rather a let down and I couldn't enjoy it that much. Still I grinded it for what it's w...

Re: FLCL: Seasons 2 and 3

The only song from Pillows I actually enjoyed was Little Busters. It fit so well in the scene that it started playing the moment Canti started fighting back against MM robot and kicking all kinds of ass. It was awesome. As for new seasons I'm filled in 1/4 with impatience and the rest with dread. I ...

Huh, it looks like I was right. Adult Naota seems to have become an Amarao clone. He even looks like him with different hair.

Re: Hollywood's "Ghost in the Shell"

(the Major and Ishikawa actually arranged for a seventeen year old to be murdered by his father) While I never was optimistic about S9 in the first place, I don't remember that piece. Granted, it's been years since I delved in anything remotely associated with GitS. When did that scene actually hap...

Re: Hollywood's "Ghost in the Shell"

Ah... All this talk about Hollywood and I stumbled upon this older article (while looking for Mario fics o_O). Heh I blame everyone who popularized deconstructions of beloved concepts. Yeah that includes your lord and savior Anno :P Anyway, maybe Hollywood will get to it... http://www.cracked.com/bl...

But just as Wonderland and Neverland it's unhealthy to stay there and everyone must abandon it to grow up and face the hard grim reality of thankless job and taxes. :D

If Nemz was still with us, he would probably vote for.

Cast of Claymore is also diverse, great and lovable. Even the "cannon fodder" that appears only to die, often is memorable.

Re: Is it impossible for Shinji and Asuka to love one another?

At base, it comes down to the fact Shinji is a low-status male, and Asuka is a high-status female. Human nature doesn't work that way around. As I've opined before, if they did get together, about six months later, Shinji would come home from doing all the shopping to find her in bed with Touji, sh...

You posted the wrong link. Maybe as a trolling attempt. But aside from that I agree with you. Lion is an absolute epicness that I listened for hours, few years ago.

Actually I've seen quite a lot of threads on battle forums, claiming Godzilla would win. Because it's Godzilla. A legend predating Eva by quite a margin. .

For example I liked Armada version. It could be better, but Starscream was awesomely unique in this incarnation. And he could swing a sword like a boss.

Re: Transformers: We Deserve Better Than Michael Bay

I actually didn't mind Bayformers that much. Until 3rd movie. I liked Mikaela Banes and she had two movies to establish her relationship with a protag. Then Megan had a fight with Bay and was removed from movies. Ok. That happens. But what actually made me turn my back on this was that her absence w...
