I know that his banners made a lot of people happy, too. He will be missed. My condolences to his family an...

Re: [Merch] Evangelion book review blog

^ Heh, for some reason I was under the impression that you read Japanese better than I do. I still need a dictionary for a lot of kanji. -o-; The interviews in this book are multi-page walls of text that I don't feel confident tackling until my Japanese reading skills are better, however I checked t...

Great to hear from you, SSD! Heeey, I translated some of the 4Koma from the Asuka/Ayanami Raising Project and GoS1 4koma anthology books back in...jeez, 2008? They're probably still on the Internets somewhere. Ooh, that sounds fun! I love 4 koma. So cute and so hilarious. ^_^ Tiny mistakes are total...

Yeah, this kind of proposal works well for them. It's touching, but without being too saccharine. Also, the end of the chapter was amusing. ^_^

Re: Missing text - Essential Evangelion Chronicle: Side A

I've been curious, by the way: how come the text is missing in the English version but the French is okay? Is it just that the English text takes up more lines and comes too far down the page? The English text takes up eight lines, while the French text fits into seven lines. However, the problem w...

Re: Missing text - Essential Evangelion Chronicle: Side A

Knowing other languages is indeed a handy skill to have! I can read English, French, and some Japanese (still need a dictionary for a lot of kanji), and it's been very useful for all these book reviews I've been doing, and for other stuff as well. Thanks again for sharing your nice bit of detective ...
