Translation (from another forum): Kazuki: This world is overflowing with connections. But those connections disappear so easily. Text: I want to connect, but I cant. Kazuki: I have three rules in life. I dont need anything else. Toi: I'll stab it. You and I arent all that different. Enta: We have co...

Re: [NEWS] Neon Genesis Evangelion coming to Netflix Spring 2019

We have not been told if there will a new dub, or who might be in it. All information is guesswork, or conjecture based on the old people knowing they haven't been asked (for a hypothetical job). We know nothing. At all.

Re: [NEWS] Neon Genesis Evangelion coming to Netflix Spring 2019

I think he means home release. He seems to be saying that the OA was aired, but the video release was DC (not that I was aware of that either). Actually, the information is right there in the wiki, though (where "NPC" appears to mean "DC")

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

Is it really such a terrible thing that more potential customers get to see advertising materials that the company has pent money on making? I simply don't understand what world these lawyers inhabit.

They could guarantee that people don't get to see their trailers, and save money, by not making them!

Re: Episode 16 and the Archives of Evangelion set

Wasn't aware of those BD issues. I will have to seeit in movement. That's the version coming to Netflix? I presume that will use the BD version; why would anyone make another?. I should clarify that when I said the BD used the Renewal version, that was specifically and only for episode 16. The othe...

Re: Episode 16 and the Archives of Evangelion set

Now, another (perhaps related) question - is the Genesis laserdisc release 0:X also direct broadcast versions? Of course, only 21-24 are present there, but that seems like it would be an ideal blueprint for color-correction of later releases, or am i wrong? Does the 0:X differ from the source mater...

Re: Episode 16 and the Archives of Evangelion set

Minor correction: According to the Platinum booklets, which should be a translation from Renewal, it was an internegative . Heh! I originally wrote internegative, but changed it after seeing the opposite in Sephirotic's article. In that case I think his probably got mixed up in translation, as Engl...

Re: Episode 16 and the Archives of Evangelion set

Given the loss of original materials for that episode, together with the unfortunately poor surviving interpositive that was used for the Renewal remastering, the broadcast version is the best source for colour and contrast matching; but its resolution is poorer than the Renewal version - which is w...

This has been noted and is being checked out (that cert is in Ornette's hands, not mine).

EDIT: Ornette has now fixed the certificates concerned.

Actually three heart* and one prostate... (Aspirin, Ramipril, Atorvastatin, Tamulosin). I make sure I've got some saliva around and then just toss them back.

True neutral for my heart pills (four each night before bed). Whatever for those I take with my food to digest it.
