My eighth grandchild (the fourth with some of my genes) arrived a couple of hours ago, and is named Benedict Nao (那鳳).

Anno even said as much. But I just don't see that S-DAT being a necessary part of that process.

Re: Mari Breaking the Loop?

Evageeks has a pseudo political thing happening where facts which might contradict their theories are denied. It really holds the site back. You'll learn much more if you're excited by different opinions instead of being afraid of them. EvaGeeks is a platform where anyone who chooses can put forwar...

Re: Mari Breaking the Loop?

Evageeks has to be the worst place on the internet for discussing the rebuilds, there is some kind of irrational aversion to new ideas on this website that makes people go through insane logical hoops to justify keeping their pet theory intact I, at least, don't have a pet theory - do you? My appro...

Re: Mari Breaking the Loop?

when a spy character is sabotaging it somehow I don't think it can be a symbolism device. The idea that it has been modified at all is pure conjecture. And it's not even clear to me that Mari fits the definition of a spy (nor that sabotage is the job of a spy in any case). What do we know about the...

Or if she doesn't, this symbolises a final complete break with NGE, perhaps?

Re: EvaGeeks.org celebrates its tenth anniversary.

I was even involved with V's own forum, but only for the short period after he'd abandoned it and until the domain name died; I'd been asked to spam-proof it. I did the same for its replacement (with which he was not involved, and which has now also died). This forum's strength and what helps keep i...

IOW, with less of what makes Eva. I think if you watch it looking for a live-action Eva equivalent (even Rebuild) you will be disappointed - which is not to say it's bad on its own terms.

There’s been no recent change to the software on the server in that time-scale. I’ll check on my Android device shortly. My Android device shows no difference, except that Chrome is a bit slower using https. This might be related to the fact that the certificate is self-signed, which I expect to ch...

Re: Sequel theory once again.

As for the latter half of End of Evangelion; it doesn't match what happened in Episode 26 at all. In fact, it's the polar opposite. Many people (?most) disagree; and some have succeeded in editing them together to make a convincing whole. Episode 26; Shinji confronts his issues, realises that his p...

If you want to continue believing the theory you had originally that's okay And you are welcome to continue believing yours; I'd gladly change my view if I felt that your arguments held water, but I still find the alternatives more convincing in this case. Not least, your insistence that the outlin...
