The Transformers: The Movie

This was the very first TF entry i ever saw before all the live action hoopla. Because of that, i find myself indifferent to the first generation robots being replaced. My favorite side quest involves the scenes with Hot Rod, Kup, and the Dinobots.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog

First game I played once I reconnected the Wii today was Colors! I once used to dread having the difficulty of not being able to activate the Wisp power because I apparently wasn't shaking the damn controller fast enough until now. Now I can use the ability and it's made my gaming experienc...

Re: Super Smash Bros

After years of inactivity on my end, I reconnected my Wii and started playing the hell out of Brawl. My least favorite level is the Donkey and Diddy Kong stage due to having to constantly worry about getting away from the bottom which keeps giving way as the world keeps going up and up. Usually due ...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Just saw episode 4 of Gasaraki. Because I hadn't seen it in a long time, I had no idea that Yushiro had a cousin in the military but then again, Gowa family has their fingers in a lot of pies. The big first actual Tactical Armor vs. tanks and soldiers in combat felt somewhat anticlimactic s...

Re: News of Anime in Japan

Score one for the Japanese LBTQ+ community!!! :D To be perfectly honest, I didn't think a lesbian marriage was something allowed in Japan but then again, I don't know how much is too taboo in a country that usually makes use of yuri/yaoi manga/anime and/or hentai to fulfill it's desires. Again, ver...

Re: FML general thread [8]

I'm so damn tired of having to live in a tropical island like Puerto Rico where the summer heat is intense and nothing noteworthy in terms of actual artists I really do like instead of the local talent constantly being bombarded on concerts and radio happens all the time. It's kind of a thing where ...

Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

Recently, I gave Cradle of Filth's Nymphetamine album a chance since I usually am not a black metal fan on misguided principles. Turns out it was a step beyond other metal acts I have listened to in the past, especially Lamb of God which I have a hard time remembering most tracks after constant list...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I had to settle for Spanish audio when watching Incredibles 2 yesterday in theaters because apparently the tickets for the English one sold out like wildfire. :um: But it didn't deter me from enjoying what was simply a divine sequel! This time Elastigirl gets the front row seat as MC as the film is ...

Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

Today, I have been stocking up on track upon track of DJ Sharpnel's hardcore techno catalogue. So far, I have been sampling bits of Evangelion, Nadesico, The Matrix, Limp Bizkit, Samurai Jack, and Fafner in each respected track of which the last one I didn't even know till today that the theme song ...

Dead or Alive 6

Been waiting for it for ages although I have to say the decision to cut down hard on the female fanservice has gotten some mixed reactions out of me and not in a good way...

Re: The Official Sailor Moon thread

Just viewed Sailor Moon R: The Movie on DVD. If this was to be your first foray into the franchise, then it does catch you up to speed in the beginning with the roll call and the end with the trip down memory lane for Usagi and her friendships with the rest of the Scouts which tbh hit right in the f...

Cowboy Bebop episode 22

It took time for Andy's dumb mistaking Spike for Teddy Bomber shtick to set in for me but by the second half when they were dueling first in the elevator then on the roof in a creative battle more than made up for a dull first half.

A small glimmer of hope that the Gundam Seed movie continuation may still be possible after being put on hold and made even more improbable by writer Chiaki Morosawa's death.

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Caught up on episode 2 of Seed Destiny! I wasn't really digging the Impulse's initial red coloring so when it equipped to the more traditional blue and red makeup, I was so relieved. Also of note, because I last saw the episode a decade ago, I always thought it would be Sting making the "die&qu...

Re: Share your Dreams (Part 2)

I keep having this recurring dream where I am witnessing the clips of the documentary crew from a certain exploitation film called Cannibal Holocaust getting hunted down by the tribe they kept antagonizing and eventually eaten alive. From what I remember of behind the scenes, cast members have openl...

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

Trailer for David Gordon Green's Halloween is here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek1ePFp-nBI Looking good. Not seeing anything I take issue with. Shot of the massive asylum field set up so the patients can roam is nicely surreal. Fan of Will Patton, happy he is getting work. That last jump scar...

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread

Now that I have finally seen all of The Last Jedi in it's entirety, it's time to chip in my two cents: It's not that bad when it deals with it's characters that debuted in this trilogy but as for the original, they get so out of character with Leia being strict on Poe and Luke acting all whi...

Re: Share your Dreams (Part 2)

Dreamt about the final diner scene in Pulp Fiction where it more or less goes like it does in the movie where Jules confronts Pumpkin and Honey Bunny over the suitcase but then it cuts to a made up scene with Marsellus killing off a fellow gangster played by a blonde haired Pierce Brosnan.
