Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

After a long delay at the mail due to hurricane holdup, i finally got Symphonic Suite Akira by Geinoh Yamashirogumi CD.

Of the shorter songs, my favorite is Dolls' Polyphony with it's acapella rhythm spliced with a bit of keyboard. From the longer options, Tetsuo and Shohmyoh rank very high.

Re: Currently playing 4: Guns of the Patriots

Got through the first chapter of The Evil Within on PS3 a little while ago. I thought that it was going to be difficult but it was all a matter of stealthy evasion and willpower. The creature that stalks me throughout the majority of the bit wasn't as scary as my fear was letting me think it was. I ...

Re: [MULTIPLAYER] Games Evageeks Play

Didn't know where to put this inquiry but here goes: Is The Evil Within any good? I have it on PS3 but I don't have a great track record of passing survival horror games especially getting scared shitless by even the most tame Resident Evil baddie. I would like to have played it through at least one...

My First Girlfriend is a Gal episode 3 Junichi's friends are weird but the one who likes little girls takes the "I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole" trophy for me. It's not even tongue in cheek funny like say Oingo Boingo's song but rather he would seriously fuck a little girl given ...

............................. It was to be expected but I get bored pretty easily without this site to back me up and I love talking to all of you so guess my whole "goodbye forever" act only held out so long. You want some good advice, don't listen to me when I say I want to leav...

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

Feeling like I might leave for good this time. I know I always say that but things in my life need to go up for me in order to not feel all the time like I would rather kick the bucket sooner than when nature intends. Nothing personal against any of you, it's time for me to move on!

Much love,
Gus

Re: ANN - animenewsnetwork hacked

For those who wanna know, I believe the problem has been solved (at least with my computer anyway) since the link used with .com now works. The .cc link is still available just in case but just thought I should let you all know.

I have never been more excited for this type of news since I don't really follow the show anymore except for now and then unforgettable moments in select episodes:

I'm fluent in English and Spanish and I know some bits of French and Japanese mostly due to watching foreign movies.

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

I'm only speculating but considering that the Answerman from Anime News Network covered this issue, basically the Japanese executives might've simply not liked the Ocean dub and wanted a more faithful English release. I believe Sailor Moon had the same issue that the Japanese simply didn't like the ...

As for this development, IDK if I would like to go for Wing even if for nostalgic value but I am really curious about G Gundam so I guess I will just wait it out:

Makes me wonder if this is the dub that will be used when both series eventually get their stateside BluRay release.

Re: Shin Gojira (a.k.a. Godzilla Resurgence)

Bought the BluRay today which marks my first time seeing Shin Gojira in uncut form and not in it's watered down Resurgence version. Every moment was like living right in the thick of it with the characters, I really felt a sense of awe from the detail Anno put into the writing. I would definitely wi...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

In my week of anime viewing, I saw episode 1 of Martian Successor Nadesico, episodes 1-4 of Tenchi Muyo! OVA series Japanese subbed then for comparison, I tried out the first episode English dubbed. Since I saw Nadesico subbed and I hadn't seen it in a long time, I have to say that the voice work is...

Re: The Official Ace Combat Thread

My favorite of the series to this day is AC4: Shattered Skies. I never finished it because every time I played it, I would always get stuck crashing down on the sixth level and I didn't even know until I watched a Walkthrough video on YouTube that there's a fleet in the sea that you have to take out...

I mean how many people remember Monster Rancher? I do. Still got the ADV Films tapes from back in the day. I also remember watching most of the first season on Fox Family as a weekend long marathon. The big plot twist being that Moo, the big bad, turned out to be Holly's father *Hello Empire Strike...

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Went ahead and saw episodes 1 and 2 of Twilight Axis a little while ago today. From what I could gather of the shortness of length of each episode, Arlette is a child prodigy who was acquainted with either Char or Full Frontal, I can't remember which since they wear similar clothing and are of simil...
