Re: FML general thread [8]

Thanks for the advice!

Turns out using the vacuum cleaner to eliminate all the dust that had accumulated on the outside seems to have stopped the problem in it's tracks. And believe me, it was a LOT of dust. Need to pick up the habit of cleaning it more frequently.

Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

For a show i claim to hate it does have a marvelous soundtrack! I am referring to the Cowboy Bebop: Blue CD i received today. My definite favorite is Words That We Could'nt Say with Mushroom Hunting following closely. I wouldn't say Chicken Bone has great lyrics but the beat is dope and The Real Man...

Re: FML general thread [8]

My PC is on life support due to it frequently shutting down and restarting. Since it is a model with 5 to 6 years of usage then i should start looking for a new one.

Re: What are you watching right now? (tv series + see OP!)

About a week ago, I checked out on Netflix the pilot episode of Voltron: Legendary Defender. Beautiful animation and that's a given since the studio behind it also did Legend of Korra. And the CGI mecha action blended seamlessly with the 2D anime-like character designs and backgrounds. I have never ...

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

Like I said, I am the Miyazaki of hello and goodbye! I had been lurking around a lot when I was quote unquote "away" from the forum so it's safe to say that at this point, this brotherhood IS my life. As long as I ain't hurting nobody in the online or offline worlds, I am ok with it. :D :D

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

I know that I have become the Miyazaki in terms of leaving for good but I need to reevaluate a lot in my life in order to really make positive changes. Lots of love to all in the site who have put up with me over the years!

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Though I was in for another round of torture with Cowboy Bebop episode 17 but boy am I glad to have witnessed it since it may very well be my most favorite episode of the series so far! The teamwork displayed with Ed and Ein searching for a meal as well as capturing the bounty of the day mixed with ...

Re: Controversial Anime Opinions

Hmm... I see where you're coming from. I tend to dislike American television for similar reasons. Well, almost similar reasons. I just don't like it when TV shows don't have a planned ending in mind. The show itself, to me anyway, can be as episodic or as serially entwined as it feels that it needs...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Decided to watch the first two episodes of Attack On Titan on my BluRay in subbed form because no matter how high I turn up the volume, the English dub is barely audible. Oh well, the sub kicks ass! Eren keeps picking unwinnable fights which can get annoying for a bit and i managed to make a compari...

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog

Today, I got Sonic Forces for PS4. TBH, IDK what is wrong with the critics saying the game sucks when it helps that my heyday of Sonic playing rested with Adventures 1 and 2 as well as '06 however flawed the latter one was. Playing as the Rookie and Classic Sonic are all fine but when you grew up on...

Re: Controversial Anime Opinions

It's fair to dislike the show, and indeed on point with the reason for this thread, but putting the blame on a dub isn't really fair , since Watanabe didn't have anything to do with it, as he did with the show's Japanese voice acting(which includes two of the greatest seiyus of all time). I persona...

Re: Controversial Anime Opinions

Prepare yourselves... I hate Cowboy Bebop!!! Yes, I know it's a very unpopular opinion but when I want to watch something good, I want it to be relevant to a flowing development, not just one random, interchangeable plotline after another. Plus the dub doesn't help matters one bit, particularly Stev...

Episode 9 of Gundam: The 08th MS Team. Hadn't seen it in a long time and something about the end scene with Yuri's secretary being tortured for information by Ginias through tons of drugs still puzzles me: Did she die? There were a ton of medications laid next to her and she wasn't moving nor could ...

Re: FML general thread [8]

I went to sleep last night with huge bouts of depression and thoughts of suicide. Doesn't help me that a couple of nights ago, I dreamt that I was drowning and actually felt at peace with it, making no effort to make it to the surface. My whole suicidal outlook seems to stem from the opinion that if...

Re: What Evangelion characters do you ship?

Ayanami/Suzuhara was suspected by Hikari in ep. 18 when she saw them talking on the roof about Rei maybe having the hots for Shinji. Not so much a thing as it was more a case of misdirection.

Re: Oh The Horror!

now i'm going to Watch RINGU. The original. Lets see if the original or the remake is better. I would say I enjoy Ringu more than The Ring which feels a little too polished for my taste. But one thing that Ringu still to this day has me iffy about is the scene where they enter the well, why do they...

I'll be sure to check out the Puerto Rico Comic Con as I usually do, especially since the first announced guest is none other than John Barrowman! Wonder if I should dig up my old copy of Shark Attack 3 so he could autograph it and have him recite for me the infamous ad-lib.
