Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Today, I finally gave the dub of Your Name a view and I was exhilarated beyond words. The visuals can get to breathtaking heights, and really watching the ending I hadn't noticed the couple of seconds of a grown up Yotsuha in high school until that particular watch. It was in the collage of short sc...

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

According to my dad, because tomorrow is my birthday and the day is off, we're going to visit my grandma and other relatives in Bayamon. Definitely looking forward to it because I haven't seen them in over a year and the food is always delicious.

Re: Eva Character Designs

1. Shinji because he's the one that I instantly recognize. 2. Misato because her well curved and mature combination when it comes to sex appeal and her job saving the world is a perfect mix. (In other words, :misato_service: ) 3. I loved the character designs since before I watched the first episode.

Feeling great because this Monday is my 31st birthday. I'll be sure to indulge in cake and spend lots of cash on presents.

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

It’s the story of a Native American girl and a cool Chicago city boy who keep trading bodies and.... Yeah, I think this combo is gonna muck it up. https://deadline.com/2019/02/your-name-japanese-anime-marc-webb-remake-toho-paramount-bad-robot-jj-abrams-1202557792/ I just might be crazy to be the on...

Re: Godzilla & Kaiju General!

Just got done watching the uncut version of Godzilla 2000 Millenium for the very first time. Shame they concentrated a lot on the human scenes because they tend to get clunky and on the verge of boring while one is impatiently waiting for the inevitable monster duel which should've been top priority...

Re: Pictures Thread 2.22: You Can (Not) Advance

I went to the barber today and finally got the nerve to ask him for a completely shaved head. Now I can look like Vin Diesel and also share something in common with my older brother who also shaves his hair. ^_^

SPOILER: Show

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

That element of it made me sad because (And please correct me if I'm wrong) At least as far as the whole Li Bingbing situation was that the political relations between Japan and China at that time affected her experience so she opted to not go to the Tokyo premiere of Retribution and because of tha...

Re: Superhero/Comic Based Films & Tv - Vol.2

Just got done with The Death of Superman . It certainly has a broader scale than the previous animated movie incarnation of Doomsday had. Involving the Justice League and basically with the exception of Wonder Woman not stand a chance against the bloodthirsty creature was epic. Not to nitpick but I ...

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

Also, I find it pretty hard to forgive Anderson for killing off the majority of the important video game characters in between the fifth and sixth film simply because the film company didn't want to have Sienna Guillory as Jill for some reason and Li Bingbing had a controversy about the Japanese pre...

Re: Currently playing 4: Guns of the Patriots

Got my Shenmue I and II Collection PS4 game in the mail recently and have been playing the first part. So what exactly happens if you don't get back to the dojo by midnight? Because I had to hightail it back in the nick of time to save my progress. One thing I haven't done is find the old lady in th...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Between yesterday and today, watched one of Takashi Miike's earlier works Shinjuku Triad Society . Full of graphic violence and gory bits, one thing I hear a lot from this is that nobody is really the good guy in this film and I would absolutely agree on that. Even the main cop Kiriya does his share...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Speed Still a good one! Popcorn action flick that hits all the right notes of seriousness and levity. Dennis Hopper is a superb villain. My Wife is a Gangster 3 Seeing the girl from Transporter 1 kicking ass on tons of men and one duel with a female equal is all sorts of excellent. Bonus points for...

Not a good idea, IMO.

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

I don't know what I am looking for and I continuously feel like a deceiver when I announce that I wish to pursue some other place to escape my sins. Sometimes it feels like an addiction to which there's no escape, I feel like I should seek some religion for closure on my errors and stop wishing to l...

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

I am going to be honest with all of you. I have to start my life or I will forever find myself feeling negative and down on myself. So far, no place in Puerto Rico I have lived in is worth sticking around and this thought has always been in the back of my mind for the longest time to abandon everyth...
