Re: Dealing with being thirty

Funny how we talking about this since this Sunday Feb. 18th is MY birthday and I will be reaching that sweet 30 age milestone! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Sometimes I get all depressed that I haven't done much with my life but good support all around me helps calm me down always.

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars Absolutely loved it! My 2nd most favorite ST movie after the first live action especially since it's written by the first film's screenwriter. Knowing now that Invasion was written by somebody else probably more than ever solidifies why I never really got into it....

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Well, I took AdamMalkobitch's advice and went back to the first episode of My First Girlfriend is a Gal in English dubbed version. I was not disappointed, Funimation makes some of the funniest dubs ever and I look forward to the rest of the series in this brilliance. ^_^

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

If you aren't watching the dub, you're not doing it right. The English dub does the comedic style of the show so well it's amazing. This shit is on the level of Afro Samurai or P&SWG I’ll keep that in mind. Today i saw the last part of the third Digimon Adventure tri movie. One short scene that...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Episode 4 of My First Girlfriend is a Gal. Yui's internet gal persona appearance reminded me somewhat of Hilda from Cross Ange mainly by the red hair with tails. I keep thinking that if Ranko wasn't so fixated on Yukana then she would probably hook up with the blond friend of Junichi, Yui would then...

I don't mean to be nitpicky but a small issue here like my recent posts not being replied at for days gets to me.

Episode 18 of Cowboy Bebop. I just want to take this moment to say I retract every bad statement I ever said about Steve Blum's ability as a voice actor especially since I heard him in other projects and didn't complain. The ending with Faye's Beta recording of the time capsule was one of the most t...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

My favorite so far is actually Revenge of the Sith. I enjoyed the prequel trilogy way more than I expected to, and I really loved watching Anakin slowly lose his grip on reality, and go completely insane. I love how, even though he does some super fucked up shit, you empathize with Anakin- you watc...

Re: Godzilla & Kaiju General!

Today i saw Godzilla Monster Planet on Netflix. To be honest, i enjoyed it more than Shin Godzilla. The future scifi Earth environment was lush and the human factor didn't bother me. My only question is whether or not Yuko Tani survived the evacuation attempt if for no other reason than to provi...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters I think I am in the minority of saying I enjoyed this more than Shin Godzilla. Who needs politics and endless meetings when you got here super shootouts with space bikes, tank mechs, and starships on future Earth vs. the Big G who is technically not the one they REA...

Re: Digimon: Digital Monsters

Today I went back to my subbed Tri. viewing and saw episode 3 of part 3. It was an almost exclusive Digimon partner episode and I loved every bit of not seeing the humans for a little while. Hikari turning into Homeostasis for the first time hearing her calm, serene voice out of M.A.O. was special. ...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Almost forgot to point this one out. I had seen the week prior the first episode of Digimon Tamers. Because my Tamers knowledge is so limited having not seen the show in dubbed form when it was on television, I had thought that Takato and Jenrya were friends from the start and not rivals since the p...

Re: Official "What should I watch next?" thread

In terms of how I am feeling about watching Zeta Gundam, so far I have seen the first seven episodes in Japanese subbed form but I feel like I am just wasting time with that method because none of the voices stick out in my head, it's basically my same situation with Cowboy Bebop dubbed but backward...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Watched episode 5 of Ousama Game: The Animation last night. While Nobuaki is definitely noble in wanting to save everyone from certain death, he is a bit wimpy in how he does when everybody keeps dropping like flies. Yousuke's death by dismemberment somewhat appealed to the sadist in me with how blo...

Re: FML general thread [8]

Thanks for the advice!

Turns out using the vacuum cleaner to eliminate all the dust that had accumulated on the outside seems to have stopped the problem in it's tracks. And believe me, it was a LOT of dust. Need to pick up the habit of cleaning it more frequently.
