Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Feeling so proud of myself because I just finished the final two episodes of Aquarion ! The final battle was epic to say the least, with seamless visuals and a plot that settles itself to an extent since some side characters seem to get shafted after they've been put out of harm's way. I would total...

Episode 15 of Cowboy Bebop. Until I saw it today, I always thought that Whitney's middle name was Elias instead of Hagas. Nice to get a little backstory on Faye, however disjointed it looks so far.

I saw the last 4 episodes of Please Teacher in dubbed form yesterday. Still one of my favorite dubs ever though I wish I knew why Melissa Fahn was replaced in the role of Kaede for the remaining episodes by Rebecca Forstadt?

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Episode 106 of Sailor Moon S. Felt like skipping over to how Haruka and Michiru met and it was so sentimental. At first it seemed like Michiru was being a creeper but as the flashback with the demon looking like something out of a tentacle hentai unfolded, hearing her pour her heart out to Haruka wa...

I believe I have decided to become a vegetarian both for better overall health as well as ethics due to uncomfort from hearing unpleasant things that the beings that become my food go through to get to edible stage.

Aquarion
Only two episodes left to watch and i really loved the affection scenes between Apollo/Silvia and Reika/Tsugumi with the latter giving out the long awaited confession of love but i felt like it chickened out by turning into a generalized instead of specific confession.

Has anyone else here been watching King's Game? If so, maybe based on my observations of the first 3 episodes and your own experience with it could you help me decide whether i should continue the effort.

47 Meters Down Pleased at seeing a shark film that has less to do with surviving them and more on conserving breath survival. Although as soon as the captain said the bit about the spare tanks, i could immediately sense what was the twist in all of this. And the credits need to be criticized for no...

Ousama Game episode 3 marks the decisive point of whether i will keep watching further because i am legitimately uncomfortable with Natsuko's psychotic shift in personality. Maybe i am just outgrowing my tolerance for hardcore horror but i just feel this way.

Over Your Dead Body

Atmospheric Miike film in which you wonder which reality is the right one. Truth be told, Kou Shibasaki was the main motivator towards picking this film for Halloween evening since i really am a fan of Shibasaki as an actress.

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

I recently saw the first two episodes of Ousama Game . The Battle Royale homage the plot evokes has it's nostalgia factor but i do hace to mention in the second episode the moment Natsuko snaps into a survivalist psychopath, i was genuinely shocked afterwards since i never pictured Yui Horie's actin...

Patlabor The Movie

Wonderful tale of industrial sabotage mixed with a powerful, memorable score by Kenji Kawai that actually made me consider at times to become a music conductor in the future. ^_^

After a long delay at the mail due to hurricane holdup, i finally got Symphonic Suite Akira by Geinoh Yamashirogumi CD.

Of the shorter songs, my favorite is Dolls' Polyphony with it's acapella rhythm spliced with a bit of keyboard. From the longer options, Tetsuo and Shohmyoh rank very high.

Re: Currently playing 4: Guns of the Patriots

Got through the first chapter of The Evil Within on PS3 a little while ago. I thought that it was going to be difficult but it was all a matter of stealthy evasion and willpower. The creature that stalks me throughout the majority of the bit wasn't as scary as my fear was letting me think it was. I ...

Re: [MULTIPLAYER] Games Evageeks Play

Didn't know where to put this inquiry but here goes: Is The Evil Within any good? I have it on PS3 but I don't have a great track record of passing survival horror games especially getting scared shitless by even the most tame Resident Evil baddie. I would like to have played it through at least one...
