Re: Last Movie You Watched

Toy Story 4 The biggest emotional roller coaster Pixar has ever given me in the form of this movie! Starting with the fact that this is probably the first Toy Story where there really wasn't any villain. Gabby Gabby was always promoted as being the big bad but she was really hurting inside first wi...

Re: The Official Sailor Moon thread

I recently finished my full viewing of the English Viz dub of Sailor Moon R: The Movie. A very solid turnout with the voice actors giving it their all in each of their performances. The villain shares a past with Mamoru (and Usagi as well as we come to find out in the end) and his fascination with h...

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

I can feel it, now is the time for me to move on. I no longer have anything of worth to post on this site and a huge part of me is wishing to come full circle and learn to let things go for the betterment of my body and soul. I will always fondly remember the memories socializing with the EvaGeeks a...

We could take this recent news as clickbait given how long we have been waiting for this particular project to get off the ground:

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Watched Clue for the first time ever all the way through. It played out certainly in a splendidly wacky way with it being serious at first with the suspense and then when Wadsworth starts to unravel the mystery and the funny music starts playing, it lightens up the mood into well played comedy. I ce...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Gasaraki It was bad. I ship Mizusu with the JSDF thot by the way. Watched part 1 of Gasaraki's flashback arc in order to better understand the premise. Apparently, Yushiro's act of mercy towards Miharu is perceived as weakness in the face of Tsuna desiring to take on the government with their Kugai...

Re: Convention General Thread

I am very excited for next year's Puerto Rico Comic Con due to the first batch of guests being the bulk of My Hero Academia dub cast including Monica Rial, Colleen Clinkenbeard, and Luci Christian to name a few. One thing that I wonder is how they managed to convince Monica to attend especially give...

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

I didn't mean to be doubtful. Truth be told, i did enjoy the Matrix sequels or at least some of their aspects and i also loved Speed Racer. I've only seen Cloud Atlas once and didn't bother with Jupiter Ascending. I do admit that the Wachowskis create interesting worlds so it would be interesting to...

Re: AnimEigo to release Megazone 23

The power of Kickstarter rings true here since the first two OVA episodes of Megazone 23 will be released on Blu Ray! And it reached that goal in a day, that's how much fans want to see this happen. Drenched with loads of goodies too for those who want to experience the behind the scenes aspect as w...

Re: Gundam (In All Its Incarnations) Mk. II

Just recently, I watched Gundam Narrative and I have to say the first 20 minutes were so boring with exposition overload so heavy, I nearly gave up on everything Gundam related until i buckled down and stopped whining like a bitch about it. Fortunately, after that I was treated to tons of mecha acti...

Re: Netflix English Dub Discussion

Finally got around to watching the first Netflix dub episode yesterday. I wasn't pissed at Fly Me to the Moon getting replaced by some piece of piano score in the ending credits, believe it or not. I do believe that in Casey's version of Shinji that when Shinji argues with someone, particularly Gend...

Re: The Macross Legacy Thread (Incl. +/DYRL/Zero/Seven/Frontier/Δ)

Recently watched episodes 15 and 16 of the original series. I never realized in the battle that not only Hikaru but also Milia was in the Daedalus missles path as well. Probably due to relying so much on the Robotech edit.
