Re: SSSS Gridman - Studio Trigger (2018)

A lot of the negative comments I've seen have been from people who seem on principle to abhor CG; Oh, yeah. Forgot that. The CG isn't awful, and I do like that the fight scenes use CG and 2D animation without it feeling too jarring. No CG would still be best, but it's hard to complain when it's use...

Re: SSSS Gridman - Studio Trigger (2018)

First episode is out and the first 2 reactions I saw were really negative. But there are two episodes out already? I'm liking it so far. I had zero expectations going in, and it's been impressing me. I'd seen Inferno Cop and Ninja Slayer before and those shows, while good, didn't really show off am...

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

I'm finally doing my Master's degree in archaeology after waiting for so long! I tried to enter last year but it opened almost nowhere in the country leaving me mostly staring at walls for the past year. But that's over now. After this is done, I'm done with studying for a long time. Just two more y...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

Season almost over. I'll edit the other shows later. Steins Gate 0 : Massive disappointment might me be too nice for this one. I had always felt that adding stuff to the Steins Gate story was unnecessary, it had a good conclusion. The movie was already an unneeded ad on, but at least it was well mad...

Re: Controversial Anime Opinions

This season alone P.A is making a ton of shows, and they are all completely different, P,A does a lot of different genres now. This isn't 2009 anymore.

Hi!

Don't worry, I'm not really trying to convince anyone. I just have to give my thoughts, as the person in this forum that liked it the most. I already wrote it, I'm done, it's out of my system.

Re: Darling in the Franxx (Studio Trigger)

Oh wow, people are still talking about this shitfest? huh And guess who's going to talk about it now? Okay, okay, this is going to be hard. My feelings about Darling are confusing, I've been thinking about it for a month, but I'm going to do my best explaining. I'll just start by saying that the sh...

Yo, I'm back. Didn't find any statues, but I did make many friends, so that's good.

It feels good to be back. Hope I didn't miss too much.

Now, it's time to make that Darling in the Franx review.

Re: Official "Hello/Goodbye" Thread!

I'll be leaving tomorrow to two excavations in semi remote regions of Alentejo. Naturally, I'll have no internet. I may pop up back in the middle of July briefly but I'll only be done at the end of that month.

So, yeah. See you guys then.

GUNBUSTTEEER!

Yeah, I saw that one coming.

I'll be leaving before the final episode airs though, so that sucks. Probably will only watch watch it in the middle of July or so. Still, I'll look forward to seeing everyone's final thoughts on Darling when I return.

I dig your rejection for Seasonal Bullshit to watch the good stuff. :kaworusparkle: I still watched plenty of seasonal bullshit tough :ehh: And boy, do I have almost nothing to say about this season. It's not because there isn't good stuff out there, in your post you wrote about Hinamatsuri and Lup...

My grandfather wants to cut a lemon tree in our house(my parents and my brothers) to make space for some bitch that rented the house a couple of weeks ago. Despite said woman having plenty of parking space a few meters away. Obviously, I value the lemon tree over that woman's life, so I'm against th...

Re: Darling in the Franxx (Studio Trigger)

Darling Episode 22: I wish there were a couple more episodes. The events placed in this episode needed more time to breathe. I suppose having everything happen at the same time does have its own suffocating effect, but I still would have preferred something else. In other news, were going from Macr...

There's a jazz festival going on in Lagoa, near were I live, and I went to the first day and was blown away by the second group that played, "Fly Magic", so much that I went and bought the CD after the concert. It's not like the first group was bad, they were great too, but the other guys ...

Dominion : Late 80's OVA where a new recruit joins the tank police and wrecks havoc through the(almost alien in design) town. Not much to say here other than it being really funny at times and keeping a light tone trough most episodes. As expected of OVAs from the period, it has some wonderful anim...

Ah, no: the monuments (especially the monuments of National Heroes and Their Victories) are kinda revered here. That's good. One time in Évora they vandalized the First World War memorial, nearly drove me insane. That said, I don't think the average person is even aware it's a memorial, despite the...
