Does anyone want my order from AmiAmi? I initially ordered a Rei Ayanami Vol. 6 figure by SEGA (measuring approximately at 20cm tall) but I'm currently on a budget so I'm more than happy to give away the order to anyone. The item condition is pre-owned with an A/B condition (bas...

AmiAmi pre-order for a re-release 2-pack of EvaEvo Unit 01 and Mark 6: LINK So is the Mark 6 in this set FINALLY getting a red spear? If so, I might just grab this one since I have neither figures anyway. @Gojimatt: Noticed your comment about wanting another re-release of EvaEvo Mark 6, so I guess t...

Here at AmiAmi... I guess they're re-releasing it for Q, but they didn't bothered in making any changes... They could've at least waited to see is there's a new weapon worth including with it... Yeah exactly. Because of that, it makes me wanna hold back and see what Eva-01 will be d...

Been a while since I've been here (university kept me busy and I've just been buying figures endlessly). With lots of purchases being done on my end, I'm pleased to say that I recently managed to find the Tamashii Spec EVA-01 w/ removable armor/bindings based on the TV version fo...

My original post: FFFFF My MP-Eva has finally arrived! Can't wait to have a look at it once I get home. New post: Damn finals/exams and assignments killed me before I could even post ANYTHING about my MP-Eva. >_> Well suffice to say I'm satisfied and it's really just such a great figure ...

Having listened to Eva's tape in Peace Walker, I find myself reconsidering my perception of The Boss. It was one thing for her to sacrifice herself to prevent all-out nuclear war in Snake Eater. But the way she reacted to the government's treatment of her during the whole NASA business? Tha...

Poor Kojima, so moe. HAHAHAHAHAHA that last line just cracked me up! In all seriousness though, Kojima could just have an Asuka-Shinji relationship with MGS. I recall Kinoko Nasu of Type-Moon feeling a bit embarassed of his original work (apart from being his earliest work, something about him ...

Sounds really interesting. I won't lie though, I feel like with Solid Snake, Kojima actually felt rather restricted with all the hype and reputation Snake had as a character. Hence the cynical tone of MGS4 of having an "old" and tired soldier in a "new" battlefield. I persona...

MGS4  SPOILER: Show
I prefer how that was handled in the microwave scene in MGS4. One of the only examples of Kojima effectively combining gameplay and story. And arm pain.

Yeah I gotta agree, while the torture scenes are classic MGS, the way it was implemented in MGS4 was.........pretty good.

The news about Bakemonogatari has me excited, but I just exploded with joy with the extra info regarding The Garden of Sinners DVD release.

Masayuki's movie video is emphatically for fans who've already seen the show. If you need to show somebody a video to "hook" them, use something that doesn't include a condensed version of EoE. Most definitely especially if they're complete newcomers. Although in my case m...

I tell them about how critics praise NGE and show them this AMV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kFhPVAhV_o What they get telled is that they first have to watch NGE, then End of Evangelion and then the Rebuild movies. I warn them about how bad Death and Rebirth is. So that's up to them. This i...

My top faves so far (excluding NGE obviously): - Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners - Trigun - Bakemonogatari - Le Portrait De Petite Cossette - Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Canaan - Baccano! - Angel Beats! On that note, Kara no Kyoukai (utterly beautiful and great emotional depth)...

Metal Gear? METAL GEAR!!! But seriously, I've been playing through Metal Gear Solid 3 again only this time on the HD Collection and on occasion, Metal Gear Solid 4 as I'm going for the Assassin's Emblem/costume. I still maintain that Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best out of the whole series...

I actually watched Eva when I was fairly young when it first came out. I was instantly hooked into it, intrigued by its story and character development. I barely had friends that knew about it at the time so I thought it wasn't exactly a popular anime. Imagine my surprise as I grew older only to...

Yeah that's true. Now that you mention it, it would've been funny if they added an extra base or even just torn parts of the mangled corpse of Unit 02 just like how the new EvaEvos have those Angel/Eva bases. ;)

While I'm not gonna jump on anyone for wanting more out of this release, the fact that a more "complete" and definitive version of the MP-Eva is being released just when I got back into Evangelion is actually a big plus to me. :) As a huge fan of the MP-Eva's role and design, t...

Looks pretty cool, except for that shoddy paint at the dummy plug entry. Hopefully it's not a persistent issue. Mine will arrive by the end of May since I have it reserved with other items at the end of the month. I'll be sure to post back here if there's any quality issue once it arrives.

Wait... When Bandai does it it's OK and cool but when Revo does it's fraud and theft and treating fans as idiots? Oh don't worry, I wasn't trying to imply that. In particular I'm just talking about Bandai re-releasing the same exact figures (new packaging aside) as I thi...
