PBS Idea Channel does an episode on Evangelion.

It's been ages since I last posted here, but I thought that I'd stop by to show that a fairly popular YouTube user and PBS affiliate posted a favorable short analysis of the series and how it demonstrates the " Death Of The Author " phenomenon in considering that Hideaki Anno's...

While it's not quite 'recent', per se, but Steam had a Warhammer 40000 sale. I bought the following games: Dawn Of War * Dawn Of War: Winter Assault * Dawn Of War: Dark Crusade * Dawn Of War: Soulstorm Dawn Of War II * Dawn Of War II: Chaos Rising * Dawn Of War II: Retribution (With ...

LAETV, numbnuts. I'd still want Weta Workshop to be involved, though. Because that would be radder than a Rubik's Cube, yo.

Brendon Small's Galaktikon is a special kind of amazing that I can't quite describe. Something that's So-Bad-It's-Rad, only deliberately so.

Having not seen it, I'm going to infer that Tim Curry's performance outshone all the others' to the point of making their perfomances look cheesy by comparison.

In response to the above... There's also the fact that it came from something that wasn't human. Alien 3 showed us that a Xenomorph that it will resemble whatever it attaches its facehugger to. In the case of that movie, it comes from a Dog. The two crossover movies that we do not speak of a...

Huh. The wiki page says that there might be some undesirable chemicals in it. Is that true most of the time?

If I'd ever try it, I'd absolutely want to taste it Constant-Comment-flavored. That's easily my favorite kind of Tea.

Ridley Scott or Zack Snyder.

I've said this before, but I think it'd be best for it to be a television series since you could pace the story better. And you could have multiple directors, too.

They all believe Karowu had sex with Shinji in the time skip between the spa and the bedroom. I don't quite get that assumption. Kaworu's not human, so he's effectively asexual by all means. He probably doesn't even begin to comprehend the prospect of latency, and he doesn't eve...

Still wondering when The Dark Tower books will make the big screen though. Wikipedia says that the filming of the series will start in 2013. Something worth noting is that they plan to make interquel television shows that take place between the movies that they make. So presumably, they'll be a...

I just saw Niggurath's Let's Play of Space Marine . I thought that the way they portrayed the Orks as legitimately horrifying monstrosities rather than hooliganish comic relief was interesting. I'd love to see them make a two TPSes in lieu of this one. The first would involve playing as ...

I just got back from seeing the movie. It rustled my jimmies in all the right ways . Except for the delivery of Shuma-Gorath. Aagsjgajhwuhjkh that was horrifying. I thought it was neat that the Space Jockey/Engineer (and that thing to a lesser extent) was what brought the Protoxenomorph into...
