Re: Fallout
Be fair though, when it started out there were only like 4 armors total. I really want to love this game, but I just kinda like it at best. It feels like a step backwards from NV in pretty much every respect but graphics. Almost everything about it still feels like a beta that needs testing and wai...

Re: Fallout
Twenty bucks that Obsidian is going to use the exact same model for Power Armor usage. Personally I like it, since it stops Power Armor from just being "those late game clothes" you just throw on yourself. Different strokes and all that.

Re: Fallout
We'll see them, eventually. The games only been out for a little over a month, and the modding kit hasn't been released yet either. The stuff we're going to see is going to be somewhat limited for the time being. There's also things like textures, what outfits to separate into pieces or keep as one ...

Eh, go for it. I remember liking the game well enough. Though with that said, I really enjoyed XIII-2 more. Don't know why, Sera and Noel never really bothered me like most of XIII's cast did.

Re: Super Smash Bros
So, Clouds cool to play as. His moves flow pretty nicely. As for the others...man I'm underwhelmed, despite not actually expecting anything. I mean, Bayo's cool and I should be excited for that, but I'm not. As for Corrin, I couldn't care less. Dammit, there are two series that are sorely lacking re...

Re: Fallout
So I still apparently don't understand how this "Your Settlement is under attacked" thing works. I get a message, forget about it, and then get a noticed about how I failed to protect X settlement. Usually, you you notice that almost your entire Settlement got wiped and you're down a handf...

Re: Fallout
A Heavy in the Railroad. They're really the only ones I can think of that sort of go in, mop up trouble, and promptly leave.
Thinking about doing a more focused build, but still want to mess around.

Re: Fallout
No, the unrealistic thing that bothers me the most is how Bethesda insists on making all their Fallout games look like the nuclear war happened 2 weeks ago instead of 200+ years ago. It made sense for the first Fallout game to look barren and desolate because it took place only 84 years after the n...

Re: Final Fantasy series
^^In all fairness, Sephiroth (And FF7 in the first place) effectively codified a lot of those tropes, which is why we kept seeing them over and over again. Being the first in the series to truly branch out into the wider audience also helps a lot. Its not something that aged well, but it was somethi...

Re: Fallout
Also no karma system any-more which sucks :( In all fairness, the Karma system didn't really do anything substantial. It was always just sort of...there. Hell, the Regulators and Talon Company was really the only things that were really tied to it, and they were just sorta...bleh. New Vegas with Lo...

^^Yeah, that kind of surprises me. The funny thing is, Beth uses those same assets all over the place, and they do in fact clip into each other/the ground in a manner that makes them look completely organic. Really wish we could do the same. ^In my playthrough, Nick absoloutely clobbered him with th...

Going to spoiler some Curie stuff just in case. So, her Synth body A.I. in combat is...weird. She retains some traits as her Miss Nanny would, in that she will engage hostiles at long range with whatever weapon she can use, but if they get up close, she switches it out completely unlike most other c...
