Tennyson, to be exact.

Old Robocop is so sparsely characterized that you're free to do pretty much anything with him.

I can't actually remember the cryptic reason for my original answer so I'm changing it to Mari.

My usual zen-like calm will be severely disrupted if they turn Darkseid into a big growling idiot that punches people like in that Justice League: War cartoon.

Re: Pacific Rim

The first season of Spartacus is one of the best TV shows ever made and is vastly better than it has any right to be. I've only ever watched through the second and third season once. I tried a rewatch but lost interest. Andy Whitfield carried the show and his passing was a terrible tragedy. I hope t...

Oh god damn

I didn't even realize there *were* new seasons, just the second movie.

Re: Superhero/Comic Based Films & Tv - Vol.2

Squad Goals holy shit The trailer looks fun. Then again, the trailer for Suicide Squad looked fun, too, and the movie was nonsensical and trite, so. Seriously. I wish they'd put whoever makes the trailers for this movies in charge of making the actual movies . I bet the trailer versions of Suicide ...

Meanwhile there was a guy who bought all the sauce at one location and was charging people $10 for a single nugget dipped in the sauce in some unholy perversion of the rite of the holy communion.

I really hope they don't repeat Diana using that one leg sweepy thing in every single movie.

Edit: This actually looks good.

I wish the whole "we created monsters" thing was an actual thing in the movie and not just a cool tagline.

Re: Universal Monsters shared universe films

The Mummy was an okay action-adventure movie and I'll see whatever comes out next but honestly it's hard to get over the disappointment that these movies aren't branching off from Dracula Untold. I really liked that movie and Charles Dance as the big bad of the universe would be incredible.

I saw Spider-Man: Homecoming last night. First of all: all the nerd bitching about Zendaya MJ and the diverse cast and hurrr Iron Man 4: Spider-Man can fuck right off. MJ is barely in the movie unfortunately but everyone else is great. It's a believable cast of teenage looking people in a believable...

Re: Superhero/Comic Based Films & Tv - Vol.2

I really hope they’re going to focus on standalone films. Continuity stifles creativity and the answer to “how was Spider-Man in Alaska and teamed up with Wolverine in Newark NJ in Amazing Spider Man and Spectacular Spider Man in May 1978?” Is “shut up”

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I just finished Transformers: The Last Knight. It's the best one of the series so far and actually pretty damn good. Frank Welker is Megatron and he has his arm cannon at long last. All the lore presented in this movie contradicts the last movie, despite sharing some characters. Retcons abound. Anth...

It's a shame if they drop Cavil. If he had better material he'd be a grand Superman.

No, he fingers her in order to plant a GPS tracker in her body to lead the Kingsman/Statesmen to an important location because her other sexual partner is the main sub-villain of the film. That's it. Also, I think the reason I don't like this movie as much is that I don't think it entirely know...
