Been playing a lot of SMT 4 lately, with some KoF XIII/2002UM to satisfy my fighting game cravings.

I'd recommend SMT 4 to anyone who enjoys oldschool JRPG's, and it's an obvious pick up for anyone who already plays SMT games.

Unfortunately my gaming laptop bit the dust some months ago, but I can still run older games on my current computer, but nothing made past 2007 really runs.

Play it more and you'll just throw the game away for its brokenness. There are too many shoto clones as I said, SF is all about Hadouken, Shoryuken and Tatsumaki. Too many shotoclones? There are 6. In a cast with more than 30 characters. Thats still more than most fighting games sans tekken tag...

I may be the only one, but does anyone here remember Reboot?

Watched the hell out of it in as a kid...it was also the first entirely CG animated cartoon I ever saw, besides the oldschool beast wars.

And in what manner exactly is street fighter broken? You fail to provide adequate reasons. Of course, balance is a difficult matter to fix, especially before the current console era where a patch meant an entire new game release. Nevertheless, at a competitive level fighting games often boil down to...
