Cool. So you've been assigned male at birth and will now shift over to female? Do men or women or both sexually attract you?
Obviously you don't need to answer, but I'm curious.

Re: What is the significance of characters strangling each other?

All strangulations in EoE refer back to one another in someway. As soon as Shinji strangles Asuka during Instrumentality, images of Naoko strangling Rei I flash before our eyes. You know, I've watched this show so many times for ten years now. Even longer than ten my god, time flies . And every 6 m...

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

I know that feeling. Yeah, I was heavily burned out somewhere around '10, but then Mawaru PenguinDrum came around and reeled me back in. I just need another sweet show that appeals to me so hard at first look, I don't care about its failures. Like Made in Abyss . Hm. Maybe the burn is 3rd degree th...

Welcome back Slothen! New York, as in New York City, or state? I'm always curious to hear what people think of Eva, especially if they generally do not like Anime. So force her to watch it and tell us how it went :)

Wood mysteriously erected in the Austrian Alps (somewhat NSFW). As an Austrian, I feel the need to say my to cents. So at first, people weren't sure if this was photoshopped. And I for one think it's much cooler than all those crosses we have on many mountain tops. :D I think, it's funny as hell - ...

It really does. I so hope, CC is working on a The World project for Sony VR. You know, it would fit perfectly.
But given the still relatively low market saturation of VR gears, that might remain a wet dream. (for now).

Re: List of future promotional events?

^ Why not, advertising for Q hit quite atypical beats for Japanese standards. Maybe they have some clever marketing scheme going on this time too. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect anything big. But some crudely drawn pic of something that may or may not be from the storyboard would be cool. I crav...

Re: Tomie's True Identity? - An Analysis of Junji Ito's Horror Manga

Now a question to Robersora and the others: I'm curious, since explaining horror is like explaining a joke. Is it acceptable for ppl like me to continue making such videos since there seems to be an audience who enjoys watching analytical horror videos? Or, do you think the very reason they are eve...

I've heard a lot of praise for The Ancient Magus' Bride . But something about the way it looks appalls me to no end. Like, I kimochi warui appalling. Which is weird, I've never had that sensation before. Haven't checked out much of this season as of yet. I had high hopes for URAHARA , but sadly, thi...

@MuscleRobo: While I feel your pain, and I'm glad that your story has taken a turn for the better, I honestly think that they'd fit better in the FML thread. @Cybermat47: Oh man, just yesterday I was sitting in front of my Computer when suddenly a big, fat spider dangled down in front of me. I died...

Re: List of future promotional events?

Not just backgrounds, I believe. It's a general discussion how the work on the movie is done. Maybe we'll get some kind of update. I mean at that point it's been 5 years since Q has been released. Some kind of update would be kinda cool.

Re: What is the significance of characters strangling each other?

It's a very violent, animalistic way of harming another person, lasts longer than a slap or a punch and thus has more impact on the viewer. Also, it's relatively resource-efficent to animate.

Re: .hack//G.U. Last Recode (HD remaster coming to PS4)

I was a huge .hack fanboy, before I've discovered Evangelion . The reason I've picked up the DVDs for Eva, was because I wanted to see what else Sadamato was involved with. Also lead me to FLCL (which was never broadcasted here, as far as I know). Talk about luck, huh. Hopefully this is a hit it'll ...

Hang in there. It's painful, but necessary. I just hope, I'll never have to relate to Gendou... Wouldn't mind relating to Fuyutsuki that much, though.
