Re: News of Anime in Japan

I don't know, where else this would fit, but Anno shared his playlist with the world. As expected, oldschool anime openings galore.

Re: These Moons Were Made For Walking (Weird Image Thread 8)

Could you post a link? I forgot, since my Computer crashed back in September, I've sadly lost all my bookmarks. Google image search told me that those artworks are by Kirokaze ... Which is not the page I was referring to. Man, another great artist lost in the aether for me :( EDIT: Nevermind, I fou...

Re: [Film] The Trailers & Upcoming Films Thread

I really wonder how people can still look at superhero comic adaptions and not immediately lose all interest.

I've found this person's Tumblr a few years ago, I still have it bookmarked... Now and then I visit it and immediately get overwhelmed by melancholy. Very powerful artwork, this is.

Oh yeah, I forgot, that Persona 5 was also on PS3. Good to hear it runs smooth on both hardwares, though. I wonder, if a Switch version was feasible.

One favourite item in a concert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYB8ob1L70c&index=14&list=PLsWc47kcHHYw99yViDu5guhQuIs6FCW7V She really is an amazing vocalist. The song is also amazingly constructed. Then again, I've listened to it so many times I've surely become brainwashed by it. The en...

I feel like, even with a better translation, we won't get any concrete information out of those tweets.
Then again, the vaguest of hint is worth many pages in threads on Evageeks. :ritsuko_mug:

This forum will not signify on the radar of any company cherry-picking traffic; it will therefore remain in the default "simply works, but with no favours" category. Possible wars between major content and news providers will not involve trivia like us. At the worst there could be a sligh...

Re: What "Neon Genesis Evangelion" literally means.

We all know Anno chose the title because it sounded pretentious. I would love to know how much he knew about the the term "Evangelion" before using it.

Re: How many people in this forum would support an Instrumentality for mankind?

Instrumentality is an all-humans or none approach, right? If that's the case, I oppose it. But if there's a way in which every individual could decide for themselves if they want to embark onto the journey, I wouldn't mind being part of it, depending on my life's situation at the moment. I feel like...

Re: What would Rei be like with a little more personality?

Rei, while having no agency, definitely always had personality. It's very alien compared to other humans, but it is a personality. To me at least.
I think you might find what you're looking for in 2.22, in which Rei's personality is much more proactive.

I know of the original in name only.
The trailer looks like it'll be a competent version of a Hollywood action movie.
Staff is seems talented enough.
Might make for good popcorn entertainment, who knows.

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Coco I had no expectations going in, and man the Frozen short was insufferable. Thankfully me and my friend were the only people in the theatre, so we still had a great time. Except for the incredibly unbelievable core conceit of the movie (no music allowed, because great-great granny was left, rea...

Re-playing P5 since it recently got the Best RPG of 2017 award, got me hyped again. Trying to do a max social link run of the game. Also will be on the lookout this time around to spot areas of the narrative which could be expanded on the inevitable "golden" re-make down the road ^_^ Pers...
