Re: [NEWS] Neon Genesis Evangelion coming to Netflix Spring 2019

I don't have Netflix, but this release might sway me, I'm especially curious how the image quality is compared to the BDs and how the new dub will turn out.
What time do they usually drop their shows? Is it one point of time world wide or is it something like 5 p.m. for each respective time zone?

Re: CRC Softcover reissue

Is there any way we can any American publisher know that we really want those in a language I understand?
I mean, especially when the one for 3.0 comes, I'm dying to know the thought process of what lead to that movie.

Re: Tsurumaki defends Gendo (2002 interview)

We all know how awkward the staff tends to be when communicating. They are a bunch of huge dorks, lol. That said, I can imagine that he was just trying to be cheeky or was completely serious, lol. Who knows.

Also, this is happening when it's voting day. I don't know how corrupt Argentina is, but this screams conspiracy to me, lol.

Re: Shin Eva - Official Social Media

I love it, whenever the cast dresses up in a megastylish way.

What is this Radio Eva program about? Is it just chatting between voice actors? Is it on an actual radio channel?

Re: Is someone interested in scans of Evangelion Chronicle?

Since they seem to be legally available, I'm not sure if this is in accordance with the forum rules, lol.
For sake of conservation, I would scan them, though.

Re: Final Fantasy series

It's kinda uncool, that you'll only get some DLC when you'll fork over 300€ for the 1st class edition, though. I mean, I never cared that much for figures, but I do want ALL of the game, lol.
If we could at least purchase those at a later date...

this is an interesting take. I enjoyed the FFXV for it's messy fragmentation, lol.

Re: Official Pokémon Thread

If this is true, this is a huge mistake on their part. Instead of making Kalju-Battles, they should use the resources to include all existing Pokemon, imo. Or delay the release.

Re: What anime are you watching right now? Summer 2016 to now

There's some responses for pwhodges and justacrazyguy sprinkled all over the text. Your Lie in April seems like melodramatic telenovela romp featuring an impossibly pure-hearted waifu, and after reading the synopsis and what happens at the end (and listening to the cringe-inducing one-liners in the...

Re: New Eva animation by Project Studio Q

And from the tweets I got a took a year to make. It would be a shame to not release it to the world imo. Oh my, between the Trailer featuring Mari spinning in midair and whatever this dalliance was, Khara sure is taking their sweet time producing gimmicks. Either way, there is a short video about i...

I'd guess maybe as a special feature on Evangelion Final? Or maybe they'll experiment with streaming for marketing Shin Evangelion.

Re: How to pitch Eva to the Netflix generation?

Yeah, I'd love to know too. I never managed to convince anyone I know to watch it, lol. I guess there's no recipe for it. Just be aware of people's individual tastes and gauge if they'd enjoy Evangelion? Someone who loves David Lynch, maybe. Or someone who likes animation in general. And then single...

I love, love, LOVE the color palette. I'm curious how Imaishi's mega-intense style will translate to the runtime of a movie though. Either way, looking forward to seeing the movie in, like, a year or so, lol.

Re: Last Movie You Watched

I really enjoyed Detective Pikachu, I loved all the scenes in which Pokemon were interacting; 10/10, if they just had left out all the human characters / sob story it would be my favorite movie of all time.
