Re: Evangelion 3.0+1.0: 2020

With two years to go, anything could be possible. That said, Shin Godzilla never showed up on Netflix to my understanding and was distributed by Funimation. Seeing as Funimation has released the first three Eva movies, don’t think that’s about to change. I kinda wonder about Khara and these things,...

Re: Awful Games?

Deadly Premonition might fall into this category. Controls quite sluggishly, really bizarre voice acting and not great graphically but makes up for it with a hell of a lot of charm and intrigue.

Re: [Fic] SSD's fanfics and stuff.

Looking forward to reading it. I was going to on my lunch break but then I remember Ao3 is blocked at work so I'll have to wait till I get home

Glad to see more Eva stuff from you ^_^

Re: Evangelion Final: 2020

Given that the trailer is a form of advertising, it seems odd to (a) restrict access to it, and (b) get uptight about the matter. But that's modern copyright law in action for you I suppose... It's certainly a strange one. I wonder if perhaps there were any special deals behind it or something whic...

That's just what some people use for it. I've seen Asuka/Shinji referred to as LAS before too. Just one of those things.

Re: Is there any good NGE fanfic?

It's very short on Rebuild-related works; jcmoorehead's for instance: Hand Cannot Erase and You Must (Not) Run Away . Thank you so much for mentioning my works ^_^ Means a hell of a lot to have my work recommended on here, I'm always a little bit under-confident when it comes to promoting my stuff,...

Re: Braver Than We Are

Okay so now for something a little bit different that I've actually been meaning to do for some time and that is talk about the 'soundtrack' as such for this fic. As I've pointed out a few times each chapter here is named after a song/album, the fic itself is named after a song and music features qu...

Re: FanFiction Requests/Recommendations/Discussion etc.

I hear you. I already had one reviewer explicitly asking, quote, To which I corrected him that 1. Kaworu isn't asexual, he just lacks the urges due to biochemical issues involving certain hormone receptors, 2. Asuka is bisexual but prefers guys (and although my readers don't know yet, the evidence h...

Re: Braver Than We Are

Hate to triple post but just realized I haven't updated the thread in a while. Updates have been coming somewhat regularly, about every 2 weeks or so. Now up to chapter 13. I know this doesn't really have many, if any at all, readers but I hope anyone who is checking this story out is enjoying it ^_^

Re: Favorite EVA fanfiction

There are probably more but just a few that I've enjoyed/am enjoying. Genocide - Already been mentioned a few times here but it's brilliant. Definitely worth reading. Ghosts - I can't actually bring myself to read the last two parts due to emotions  This one is a fantastic post Third Impact ...

Re: Evangelion's site and Facebook/Twitter covers updated with new images - First teases of Shin Eva

Been following the twitter updates, googles machine translation really hasn't made that easy but yeah, doesn't look like anything came of it.

EDIT: There seems to be a Q&A happening so possibly not fully over?

Re: Evangelion's site and Facebook/Twitter covers updated with new images - First teases of Shin Eva

I had completely forgotten that that was coming up. I remembered the art book as I have that ordered but completely forgot that they were doing other things. It'd be nice to hear something about it but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Re: Evangelion's site and Facebook/Twitter covers updated with new images - First teases of Shin Eva

Was that not referring to one of the Pachinko games or something though? I seem to remember that coming up here when it was originally posted and someone said it might have been to do with one of the animated movies for a game?

Re: [Fic] Bardi's Works

Already reviewed it on FFN but another fantastic lemon, really enjoyed it. Perfect mixture of romance and sexiness in there. You write those scenes so well, and the moments surrounding it all were perfect as well.

Really looking forward to more stuff from you :)

If you guys need anyone to help out playtesting, which I doubt you will as I imagine you'll all be able to handle it I might be able to offer my services. I've got 4 years AAA testing experience (ongoing) so I know a few things, although my free time is limited this year for reasons, I would like to...

Re: FanFiction Requests/Recommendations/Discussion etc.

I've seen a few people advertise their stories in this thread, so in the never-ending quest for feedback I'd like to add my voice to their own. I'll first preface that with a greeting to the forums, though, just in case that most people here haven't seen the one in my thread: I'm Gryphon, author of...

Re: Internet toxicity (Social media, fandom shipping, etc)

Tumblr is sort of like a game of telephone, and things start getting reblogged and spread faster than they can be sourced. ...speaking of Tumblr, is there any way to actually scroll through all of your Tumblr followers? I haven't actually looked at that in a long time, and I've decided to scrub out...

Re: Internet toxicity (Social media, fandom shipping, etc)

It's easy to get caught in that 'heat of the moment' demand to throw something out there. I've done it, too. Emotions are really a devil for us in that respect. Oh definitely, I imagine I've been guilty of it too. Going purely off of a headline or seeing something and telling someone else, "Di...

Re: Internet toxicity (Social media, fandom shipping, etc)

Some things never die on the Internet, and it's why you have to be so careful in what you post. It's what makes Facebook so insane to me: people have to own everything they say, and some of the things they say there are absolutely shocking. Under their own names! I see a few people from my family s...
