Re: Anno's Live Action Film Collection is coming out in Blu-Ray this summer

I own this. I can attest that, at least, Love & Pop and are US compatible and have english subtitles. I played the movies on my PS3 and the quality for L&P is less than stellar but Ritual looks spot on. I tried to verify if L&P was also the extended cut but it looks like it's the origina...

I get payed soon and I might just have enough extra money for this.
Could someone point me as to where I could get it and how much it's going to set me back?
If nothing else could someone tell me the ISBN?

My only beef with the US version of 2.22 is the damn rolling credits. I want an option to show the original credits on these things and it might seem trivial to some but to me it breaks the fourth wall BIG time. It's an outstanding shame that the Jp BD doesn't have english subs because that ...

There isn't any demand for it. There are very few people who'd even bother getting the DVD, certainly not enough to release it. Actually, I released a VHS rip a while back on torrents and only 2 or 3 people downloaded it. There might've been more interest 10 years ago but now, even with ...

Yeah, I ripped the LD a long while back and Adam got me the DVD and I made my own subs. I prommised I'd share 'em at another thread but debth collectors have been harrassing me a lot so I've been looking for work rather eagerly so I've haven't the time to fullfill my promice.

I guess I'm not going to make it to the San Diego screening tonight. I am so fu(*&ng dissapointed I haven't the words.

I've seen the movie more than a few times but I'll provably never get a chance to see it in theatres and I was really locking forward to it.

Wrote your own.. I see. You should try encoding the raw isos into mp4s with Handbrake and then muxing the subs in with MKVToolnix. It would be much higher quality than hardsubbed .avis, but if you don't have the space, I guess .avis are better. Well, I make them in .avis because I watch most of...

Alright. So I ran into a lot of unusual problems with the second movie, timing problems, weird ones. I'll set the end frame of text and when I comeback to it it's ether a frame ahead or behind of where I left it, and in a movie where the end of the frame matters more than most other movies i...

I suppose that there is some logic to that. Most authors would create characters they thmselves like but it takes ball to create a character that reflects certain things about thamselves they dispice. Ayanami starts to really become mysterious once her monolouge inside the eva on ep. 13 starts, I me...

i think that that comment about Rei might be about a point before Rei had a place in the story, where she was still no more than the girl in bandages, at a point where she didn't look like his mother. it is hard to imagine there been such little love one of the most mysterious characters in the ...

Well, yeah, that's the one we've been talking about. You know, as far as I know this will be the first time the LD version of the movie has been posted online... I'm kinda proud of myself. Oh, also, it's a torrent file Format: .avi XviD Duration: 0:45:21 Dimentions: 720x536 Size: 410mb

The files are .ass (hee hee) and when I created a few styles on Aegisubs and they seem fine on the screen, however some of the properties in the styles don't translate on XviD4PSP, specificly fade-ins, Blurs and bolds. Some of the codes, for example, like {\blur1} don't translate in ...

I just remembered...
The reason I didn't continue with this is because I was having issues with some of the subbing software and no one seemed to be able to help.

There are people here who do subs, can anyone tell me who they are so I can ask them for help, please?

A torrent would be more than perfect. I would like the non-avi lossless rips. i know, i saw. i guess i'll make 2, the .vod file, which was actually a capture, not a rip; don't worry, i used an s video cord for the best resolution possible. and an .avi format with hard subs. i'll warn yo...
