Holy shit, thanks for directing me to Mandarake. Noticing all sorts of Eva stuff available for cheap (RAH Shinji for 10,000 yen isn't half bad, 8,000 for RAH Kaworu, 4,000 for that tough to find Tamashii Spec Positron Rifle (Already own that but its still a nice find.)

Well, since I don't buy Revo's I guess for now I'm finished with collecting evas (Two more SOC Spec but I doubt I'll get those anytime soon).

In the meantime I think the only thing i'm looking foward to is the Rio:bone Panty (And eventual Stocking).

The riobot just looks, meh. Like a big Robot Damashii with half of the articulation.

Then again I could be wrong and the pictures are just not doing justice to the figure.

anybody else look at the banpresto figures and see them as some bastard child of the RD's (Design and coloration) and the Revoltechs (Big Shoulders, obnoxious looking joints)?

Guys banpresto is owned by the same company that owns bandai.

If the molds are so similar then its no surprise why.

The only good things about that figure are that they added the 01 Berzerk head with Red eyes and the crushed entry plug.

Other than those two things that whole figure is Ugly, just like the rest of the Revoltech releases.

There are still two types of Horn, the hard one is on the normal head, the soft one is on the "Awakened" Head. They can still be removed like on the normal release.

Awakening 01 just arrived, lucky me in not having to sign anything to get my package. Alrighty, it comes with a stand, awesome. The color of Purple is darker than the normal RD 01, probably so the red doesn't look out of place. The alternate head does indeed have a jointed mouth. Yay. The waist ...

My Awakening 01 will be on its way shortly, very excited.

Just got RD Eva 02 today despite thinking it was going to arrive a week later.

That's freaking sweet, figure is amazing as usual.

My main problem is the trick of a cheaper figure only to have shipping make the price either the same or more expensive.

First I must say WOW. That looks absolutely amazing, Essentially perfect in recreating the Anime's artstyle.

Second, Internal Articulation? Like they're wearing a rubber skin over the joints? Sounds nice, but won't that hinder articulation/wear out with age?
