Re: FML general thread [8]

Was really angry when a fan forum decided to implement a rating/reputation system ala-Reddit. Claimed they want to use it to identify good posts and bad posts, supposedly to track "trolls". Feels more like... circlejerky when I thought it better to ignore forum users who are annoying or re...

Re: Dealing with being thirty

In these days, being 30 is the new 20, as much of 20something life has become an extension of teen life, only with less restrictions. I am 41, and yet I still prefer to dress as much as I would if I were 21: Public Enemy or Guns N Roses t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Much older people a few decades a...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Darkest Hour . It was a good film, but a rather poor depiction of history. Inaccuracy, just like The Patriot, leads to one to get and read a history book. I do recall that many movies produced in the 40s are mostly to bring out the patriotic character, to rouse people into supporting the war effort...

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Did the movie address Churchill drug addiction? Did the movie address how Churchill fucked India up the ass during the Bengal famine? No, and no. Of course the film is not without its critics, mostly coming from the left. The film mainly concerns about the decision whether to surrender or fight on....

Re: Last Movie You Watched

Watched The Darkest Hour. The way Oldman pulled off Churchill feels like he's the real deal, a lot of chutzpah and anxiety in closed-door moments. Eminently quotable, found myself laughing and moved, and once it was over I rose from my chair and applauded. Damn awesome, it should be the bookend to D...

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

I saw the obvious advantage of a larger resolution -- it makes workflow a little more easier; in your case, able to glance at multiple tracks. I appreciate working now at 1440p so as to have an ease working in Creation Kit (a modding program for Skyrim). --------- Okay, ran into a now-rare Logitech ...

Re: Star Wars Episode II - A New Thread

Still having those buzzing feelings after watching it last Sunday. ⋅ Kylo eliminating Snoke in one swoop while taking full advantage of the then-Lord's gloating. That was unexpected, and at the same time might as well fulfill the Rule of Two conditions required for the success of a Sit...

Re: News [NO POLITICS]

https://www.pcgamesn.com/osama-bin-laden-anime-gamer This is NOT an Onion article. Can anyone verify its accuracy and that this isn't a colossal joke? Osama Bin Laden was a Weeb. Or at the very least someone involved with him was. I doubt it himself playing those games, as he had either minors or y...
