It just seems to me that Misato is an introvert who pretends to be an extrovert.
Does anyone else think so, or am I just stating the obvious?

And I'm sure Shinji and Asuka are not the only people who wanted to live.

It's funny that Gendo and Shinji basically said the same thing in EoE about doing nothing at all instead of hurting people, but they ended up hurting people more when they did nothing.
