Whoa. Long time since I've posted here. Lost touch with Evangelion and anime in general, and haven't seen the movie yet, just read the spoilers. I gotta admit Hideaki Anno is a master troll. This is just like EoE all over again! He's got an amazing gift for bashing his own work and rebui...

That is thought to have been written on the Delphi Oracle of Ancient Greece. Something like "nothing in excess" and "know thyself".

Heh, I don't even know my heritage :P Probably portuguese. Here in Brazil, although some people still think that by having a different heritage (german, italian, french, european in general) they are entitled to feel that they are better than others, there's not that much focus on he...

Well, I've just finished playing Fate / Stay Night. I liked it. Somehow, it managed to give me that bittersweet feeling that Evangelion gives.

There's also an anime of it, but I haven't watched it yet. I doubt it's as good as the PC game =)

As for German, I guess the different cases and conjunction possibilities (especially when also taking the differences between "du" and "Sie" in) can be troublesome. Not to mention the goddamn declinations. I studied german for 3 years. In my opinion, the hardest part was...

Learning Japanese beats learning Spanish. Actually, Spanish shares enough with Japanese at the phoneme level that native Spanish speakers generally seem to have an easier time with spoken Japanese than English speakers do. (I have to believe that six years of secondary-school Spanish helped me ...

My favorite anime when I was in 6th grade. It's great for what it is (just your average shounen fighting anime), but compared to other works most people wouldn't give it a second glance. It was my favorite when I was, say, 12 years old. Saint Seiya is very famous here in Brazil. I t...
