I don't really know as Maya dosen't show much of a personality in my opinion. The whole lesbian thing comes from a scene in EoE when she imagines Ritsuko hugging her.

Honestly, we can speculate all we won't, but Shinji's sexuality was never established. He never showed any DEFINATE sexual interest in anyone, so in the end, we don't if he was straight or gay.
