In the case of Rei, this might explain why we see an apparition of Rei appear before Misato and Ritsuko as they die, I'm sure someone has already stated this, but also, In the first episode when Shinji sees Rei standing there.. you see her then. Originally posted on: 10-Oct-2003, 19:32 GMT
