Someone needs to doctor the 2I report Fuyutsuki is holding in #21 so that the photo of Adam is actually a drawing of... something much, much worse.

You must view the glory of the God Soldiers! Or he can read the manga. Did you know that Adam's and EVA-01's Wings of Light emit serious amounts of radiation? Also, read this: http://www.evacommentary.org/images_...anime-died.zip Global warming caused the melting of the polar ice caps and t...

Sounds like Anno could be making a bid for his old sensei's mantle... Hah hah, that's the very first thing that popped into my head. http://www.evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/smilies/tongue.gif Rei would make a great treehugger. (Except when she becomes giant, naked, and white and dest...

Don't have a cow, man. What you intepret as an "attitude" was merely my natural response to a perceived hostile edginess in your tone. Clearly this is one of those two-way misinterpretations that takes the fun out of forums. I'm merely looking for a history and reasoning behind fin...

You might as well have just said "Every time Eva-02 is on screen" And for the record, I read the thread - but I didn't sit down and memorize who said what and posted which pictures. I was asking for your specific opinion and not considering if you'd posted pics. You asked which cu...

But, a fight between the the two versions would be awesome.^^ Another classic fan-art idea to add to the list! It could actually be a three-on-three: TV Kyoko, Gekijouban Kyoko, and Evil Gekijouban Kyoko. BTW, I swear to God Fuyutsuki(sp?) looks exactly like an anime version of my grandfath...

Opinions are funny. What cuts did you consider the Eva's drawn poorly in? You apparently didn't read the entire thread... But I just *love* the exaggerated perspectives in EoE, and I have a feeling that the cuts you're going to complain about are the ones I admire http://www.evageeks.or...

See - I always considered it as "improving it" for a big budget, 35mm, projected on a hundred foot screen, change. Not swapping actors. "Big budget", and they still have that handful of cuts where the Evas are drawn poorly , and continuity errors up the wazoo. I still think a mo...

Keel: "You idiots! This is not EVA-02! You've killed her stunt double !!" For a really fun continuity gaff, notice how they used the EVA-02 launch sequence from the TV series in #25'. Apparently, the swap was made sometime between then and the scene at the bottom of the lake. http:...

Meh. I still dislike the look...harpies were to have their heads a certain size. Complaining about the size of the heads (not just the harpy, but Nigouki as well) in that shot is like complaining when Kyoko's hand gets bigger the closer to the camera it gets, until it fills the screen. ...

I always thought that was an intentional in-your-face effect. The closer foreshortened body parts are to the viewer, the more outrageous the effect of disproportion is. After a certain distance, it becomes negligible, however.

The "extra segment" stills count as an oh-so-blatant continuity blunder, considering the look of the girls the REST of the time.

Well, remember, it was only one animator (well... maybe two) who drew Kyoko with the extra torso segment and made both her and the harpies look INCREDIBLY stupid. She looked... okay the rest of the time, though I still would have preferred if they had left her original design more intact. In...

The wasp waist of the Evas in the TV Series does bother me a little... That, along with making the shoulders SLIGHTLY more manageable, is about the only change I impose when I draw mine. The bizarre combination of gracility and power is one of the Evas' trademarks, and I definitely don't thi...

I've noticed this ever since I saw the movie. Why Production I.G. did this is beyond me. I'm actually not sure if they're responsible... Takeshi Honda, one of the veterans from the TV series, is credited for designing the harpies (erm, "Eva Series"), so perhaps he is r...

My comrade-in-arms pretty much covered all of the bases, far as the eViLz of Gekijouban Kyoko-sama go. I'm just here to provide a few visuals. http://www.evageeks.org/ANF-Archive/images/9JTUK9L786AP8JG9EO1BJA14G-icon2.gif This is EVA-02's design from the TV series. [Though she ended up looki...

Adam: http://animenation.net/forums/showt...723#post5474721 The stuff on Lilith is scattered throughout the same thread. I guess I'll scribble up a sort of "current synthesis" on EVA-01's origins here, just so I can link to it in the future and revise it if need be... There is noth...
