Re: Forum Wackiness

I recently signed up for me to be notified by e-mail when I receive a message. I did get a message, but there was no corresponding e-mail. I double checked my user control panel, which has the correct mark and I checked through the spam section of my e-mail, and there was nothing. What's going on?

Re: Buying a Record Player

Thanks DBP. The thing about Crosleys is that they seem to be rather unpopular for supposedly being of low quality (this video as one example) to even accusations of them making records unplayable after being played on them a few times. I don't know if there is any truth to these claims or if these a...

Buying a Record Player

I've been considering buying a record player for my family as they have many LPs, a combination of albums that various family members purchased decades ago that haven't been thrown away, and a small collection that we got from a late uncle of mine. I've done some research, but I feel I still need so...

Re: How Evangelion Gets Away With Being Terrible

To claim that the essence of Eva is lost in NTE simply because it isn't as complex or as long as NGE is to say that the essence of Eva is simply its complexity and its duration. I remember reading an issue of the US edition of Newtype where they had a feature on 1.0 and one of the people on staff r...

Re: You Can Start Again

Chapter 12 has now been released. I would to make note that this is the longest work I have worked on so far, and could be considered the first novel-length work that I have (according to the SFWA, 40,000 words and up is considered a novel). I am quite glad that I made it this far, and there is sti...

Re: Comic Books!

I normally don't post in this thread, as I don't have a great knowledge about comic books in general. Yet, there is something I want to comment on. Archie Comics is issuing old Marvel titles in digest format. The first issue they released was Spiderman while the second will be the Avengers. For the ...

I don't understand everyone's enthusiasm over this fella's dismissal. What makes him a bad director? I've never heard of him.

Nature of sync tests

In both NGE & Rebuild, the pilots have to, from time to time, undergo sync tests. My question is, as it has been a good while since I've seen either iteration, what do those test entail? It seems the only thing the pilots have to do is concentrate while technicians analyze their connectivity to ...

Re: Evangelion's site and Facebook/Twitter covers updated with new images - First teases of Shin Eva

That's what I meant all the damn time! How would you split a story that's three acts long into four films? You just simply split the last act into two. The title for the fourth film is as obvious as it gets, that it complements and rounds up the third and last act that started with 3.0. 3.0 is only...

Re: The Great North American Eclipse 8/21/2017

I don't think it's appropriate to consider this event the "Great North American Eclipse" as there will be two more eclipses in a few years, so is it possible to change the title? Thank you. and
perhaps not to speak of this event anymore?

Chapter 11 is now released. As far as Chapter 12 is concerned...it might be a while. It's been a slog to write so far, but I hope it'll turn out well. Enjoy.

Re: EVA 2.0 OST= Kare Kano OST? WTF???

Yeah. While I can't say that I dislike the Rebuild OSTs, I can say that many of the BIG CHANTING CHOIR songs have kinda lost their initial feeling of "epicness" from when I first heard them, instead becoming something a little cheesier. This track is about the only one that has still reta...

The trailer for A Wrinkle in Time. The only thing I can say about it at this moment is that I wouldn't mind hearing the full remix of "Sweet Dreams."

Well, I managed to fix the chapter, but it appears that the format has changed on the earlier chapters as well. I'll have to fix them later.

Re: You Can Start Again

^I took a look at the chapter and I see what you mean. Usually, I leave a double space to indicate a change in scene, and I thought I did. When I load it on the site, I have to delete all the spaces out manually. Is there way to edit the chapter without resubmitting?
