Re: [Music] The Grand Music Discussion Thread [3]

Heh, it's interesting how designer of this… apparatus imposed the impression that there the whole plate is one big, massive magnet. wouldn't it take a lot of power to do that? To make a number of small, yet very strong magnets? Probably, but it's producer who pays the bill. What I wonder is h...

Re: Episode 22 flashback clarification

While I'm not 100% sure, I think #1 and #2 are not recycled. #4 looks a bit like a shot from the AR sequence, judging from Shinji's facial expression (so it would be Ep 26). I don't know about #3.

Re: Only in Japan...

A light novel, and translated of course - wouldn't that be enough to convince Barons of Hell Hollywood to make its live movie adaptation, with full CGI power unleashed? BTW someone in the comments decrypted the title of the book as "A Child's Illustrated Book of All Countries"... Besides. ...

Well, that would be somewhat consistent with what we can (not) hear and see onscreen. BTW and sorry for going offtopic (double sorry for replying to a signature): The singularity is the rapture for nerds, dude. It's not going to happen. We all are singularities, dude. For our cells. Can they underst...

Apparently - Dare? (Who?) Arigatou (Thank you) Anta koso dare yo? (Who are you?) - it's their (02 and 09) first exchange in 3.33 on Wunder's hull with a flashback cut to their (00 and 02) phone "conversation" from 2.22. This site helped me a great deal. I can only hope though that Google T...

Re: Everything is Rockin'! [RML Thread 4]

Eh, it's only a conspiracy theory... one of many possibilities to consider; I'm not that serious about it. :uhh: I treat it as a good starting point for some work of fiction, a story where Poland actually switches sides and goes east together with the rest of the Axis to fight the commies. It'd requ...

Oh crap... Imagine it's The All Saints' and you're away from the city to visit a grave of your relatives (some 1.5 hr away by car). It's 9 am when you're praying by the grave lights and your phone RRRINGS to inform you that either you'll show up at your (rented) apartment ASAP or the firemen will sm...

Re: News [NO POLITICS]

Why do think that? Because here we have Teh Chruch here and believe it or not, but after the Wall came down, the late Primate speculated that return to feudalism could be - if you think of it - a quite good solution for Poland. Yes, he said that in the 20th century. Okay, enough. Despite recurring ...

So, uhm... I hope coming-outs are not considered politics? I think they shouldn't be, especially in sports. So this time it's Paola Egonu, Italian volleyball player. But hey, guess why I link that.

However - Polish planning - now this is what I call a strong disturbance of the Force . Adaptation, improvisation , and the things will, uhm... go forward? (I'm lacking an idio...

I'm sure that didn't feed the conspiracy theories at all, lol. Conspiracy theories… feeding those can sometimes be a better option. We have similar situation with the death of our Prime Minister in exile during the WW2. The official version says it was an accidental plane crash, there are however s...

Thanks! I'm simply fond on history, though I never studied it; still I keep collecting curios I can get from here and there. Anyway, mind that I'm not a standard Pole, thoughtlessly accepting the how-dreadful-and-injust-they-were narration s/he's spoon-fed in school and elsewhere. I simply think we ...

Re: News [NO POLITICS]

I'm afraid I can say more about how awful (aaawfuuul) were the other invaders, than how benevolent was the Brightest Lord. He was apparently... civilized, even by modern standards. Anyway. When we lost our state, we could only keep ourselves swimming, so to say, using our culture. And both Germany a...
