So I was thinking there should be a meme where Shinji asks Rei why she pilots her Eva, then she says "it's my link" and then there's an Eva dressed in a green tunic with a sword and Rei is a floating fairy. What would be in character for Rei/Navi to say?

She should follow Shinji around while softly saying, "Hey... hey... hey... listen..."

Really makes me wonder... I never saw Navi's clothes in that game... was she naked the whole time? Her name being short for "navigator," she'd make a fair Eva pilot.

At least Rei learned to keep her sassy comments to herself after her first incarnation ran out of air. Well, I may draw this meme when I'm in the mood.
