I first watched Eva a couple of years ago, and began lurking here shortly afterwards. Now with the series going up on Netflix and the trailer for 3.0+1.0 coming out, I figured this was a decent point to make an account.

I already kinda did an intro at the How did you get into Evangelion thread so I'll just talk a bit about my non-Eva stuff here.

I'm a new Eva fan living in Australia but have been a shonen manga fan for the majority of my life. Some of the stuff I'm following at the moment include series such as My Hero Academia, One Piece, Dragonball, Kingdom, Attack on Titan, Dungeon Meshi, Rising of the Shield Hero, Detective Conan and a whole bunch of others.

A lot of the anime I've watched tend to be adaptations of manga I'm reading so I welcome recommendations! My favourite anime original used to be Code Geass, but I guess Evangelion took over that spot.

I'm also a fan of old movies such as Casablanca, Sunset Boulevard, and Citizen Kane. They sure don't make movies like they used to anymore.

I play a lot of Overwatch as well as a really nice little mobile game called Dragalia Lost. Sometimes I'm on Don't Starve Together.

Feel free to talk about any of the above with me or PM me if you wanna game maybe.

Btw, when it comes to pronouns I'm fine with he/she/they.

Cuz and I watched the anime together when we were very young. Fast forward a decade or so, I happened upon the wiki here just as I was about to deploy to Iraq(where as of the writing of this post I am currently located).

I'd like to say thanks for the wiki and the forum, It's given me a needed diversion over the last nine months. As a bonus I'm a writer as my own private hobby. And I love plot analysis and breaking down characters for better understanding.

At a later date I'd love to contribute to the conversation here on the forum. After I get to a location where I can download/stream/HAVEDECENTFRICKENINTERNET and be able to call myself up to date.

Anyhow thanks for the wiki and forum. I'm very much enjoying it ya'll rock.

I had some developments in the form of earthquakes affecting the island sporadically. Highest it got was 6.3 Richter scale.
