CARY FUKUNAGA IS DIRECTING THE NEXT FILM.

I do expect the release date to get pushed back. A Valentine’s Day release for a Bond film is weird as fuck.
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

Heh, I came here to post that, more out of interest in Fukanaga than Bond.

Whatever the script ends up looking like, this is sure to be the best looking Bond since Casino Royale.

I hope this happens. EON are very strict when it comes to story, feel & pacing of James Bond. I assume after his disastrous experience on IT Cary Joji Fukunaga & EON have gone into this production with a pretty strong idea of the story & film they're planning to tell. From what I've heard, behind the scenes Daniel Craig has really been leveraging his power as Bond this time around because he had an absolutely terrible time on Spectre - must be hard to be the face of a $300 million costing film you know isn't working which he apparently did early on once he read the script - and wants to go out on a high note. Rumors are he has been pushing to do the type of Bond movie he's been wanting to make since Casino Royale wrapped, a smaller From Russia With Love style Bond adventure and not another massive this-or-the-world-ends spectacle.

I too think the Valentine's Day release date is weird. But, Disney is throwing their big mouse dick around and has already claimed Bond's usual first weekend of November with another in a long line of Untitled Marvel Movie already set for wide release. The Valentine's Day release could stick. Maybe.

You are not, Lazenby's fight scenes always looked so real to me as a kid, and not the fake "no contact" hits you can see in some older movies.

Yeah, and its always left out of those "Next Bond" articles. Though it would be nice to see Idris Elba take up the mantle when Craig's obligation is over.

Big mouse dick... But you're probably right, the date will stick, because EON wouldn't want to go up against a Marvel blockbuster when trying to make a a highly profitable movie.

Voted in college to be Most likely to Take Over the World, how to do that however, will require at least Four Evangelions. Thanks for the idea Misato-san!

That is so weird its like when they kept putting Fifty Shades out even though it's not romance it abuse dressed as romance and in terms of bond it doesn't fit as his treatment of women has always been problematic with in the franchise. In that there mostly disposable and throwaway or just there to have to sex with him I in no way hate the films because of it but the issue does really still stick out like a sour thumb.

Also to clarify I am in no way saying bond should not be allowed to have sex or flit or have fun more that he's just more respectful to these women and the creators give these women names and some character dialogue, other wise they just come across as throw away and give captured ones agency show them being realistic and trying to escape...like real victims of capture try to do.

Looks great, shows a lot but not anything that screams spoiler as far as I can tell beyond Swan's subplot. Happy Swan doesn't appear to be getting killed off early on. Not thrilled with Lynch's dialogue but I like her delivery & voice.
Getting creepy Giallo-ish vibes from Malek's mask.

Daniel Craig's final Bond film No Time To Die has just been moved from its April 10th release to November 25th due to the coronavirus.
This makes sense since Bond is a huge global franchise and a lot of nations either have closed movie theaters or are about to do so.
The hope is by November the coronavirus will be more under control and the Bond film can play globally as planned.
I always expected the film to move to November as that has been the time of the year when Bond films get released but I would have never predicted a global pandemic would be the cause.

In other news - if Godzilla Vs. Kong doesn't move their release date (Currently November 20th, now a mere five days before Bond 25) again they'll be even more fucked than they already are.
