Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I've heard its going nuts all over the world in the UK its been between 27c to 30c for three week solid where I am so I really sympathize because it sucks as you just can't cool off its like no matter how much you drink that's cold you need more. Yesterday was the first break in the weather but since then it has just pissed down with rain for almost the whole day...its like its making up for lost time.

AFAIK, it's his first job after university, and he almost got fired after the first three months because they weren't too happy with him, back in December - hint for privacy-minded people: don't do this kind of phone call on your balcony where many neighbours can hear it. However, his employer kept him (but denied a year contract), and his family held an inanely large multi-day party to celebrate this :cringe: . So this would mean his employer terminated him after the 6-month contract that they gave him instead of the year contract that he ought to have gotten if he behaved normally. That probably also explains why January and February were about the only two months where he behaved approximately normally at home, because he was forced to display 'good' behaviour at work too to avoid being prematurely fired, and that would have been a problem if he went out to ungodly hours etc. Of course, starting in March the crazy behaviour started to increase again, so that sealed his fate.

Getting fired does seem to have calmed him down somewhat, though.

(now it would be great to know if the late-night balcony conversation I overheard two days ago regarding someone finding a new job that would require moving house involved him ...for obvious reasons :w00t: )

While today it's nice 25°C, for the last two weeks it's been in the 35° range, with nights well over the 20°s. I live on the verge of Southern Europe in a place that used to be rather swampy (and still is, in places) so humidity is high.

LOL, no. :D

Plot twist of the season: Yesterday Psycho-Neighbour's parents were there (again), they were extremely noisy, and had visitors. And then they had a dinner discussion on their balcony that was rather...hallucinatory...because it was quite like the kind of monologue you get in a psychiatric consult when the expert is explaining his findings... :uhh: Also rather sad, actually. :|

Basically someone came to explain to his parents why his old employer was letting him go. The thing that came back repeatedly during the discussion was that Psycho-Neighbour worked very well while under supervision but completely failed to do any work if asked to work unsupervised :| . They also had to collectively scream "NOOOO" twice to prevent Psycho-Neighbour from doing something stupid that involved movement.
Having a discussion like this at home is also very unusual and strange, AFAIK they only do that for people who get distressed in localities that they don't know. Of course, there's a really mindless bit: Due to the way our apartment building is build, anyone who was on or near their balcony at the same time will have been able to clearly understand the whole thing (thumbs up for privacy).

So what I gather from it is that Psycho-Neighbour has some kind of disability that mostly expresses itself by breathing issues, probably some motion-related coordination issue (hence the noise), and also a psychiatric/emotional component that plays up periodically and apparently also badly limits his ability to work normally and live independently for longer than a few months in a row.

I'm a bit in two minds about this. On one hand it explains so much, on the other it is not an excuse for anti-social behaviour and a refusal to do anything about the noise issues by the parents. The other thing I don't understand is why they don't get any professional help, such as a social worker, to help their son. It's not like the region I live in lacks options... :uhh:

Oh, and they are indeed planning to move...

So finally got the results on my moggy they came back positive which makes no sense because she's all better now after over a month of drugs and so on, they believe that like humans this is a false positive (As it can happen in animals as well which I had no idea about) So they will have to give her an X ray as this only way to confirm nothings growing in her body, I just hope this is the last time she has to be put under.

Though silver lining of this is her forma owners handed over full ownership and her chip has now been updated as long story short we found her outside our house when she was just under a year old crying out for food and super hungry, we thought she was at first a stray or abandoned because how could a cat be that hungry? She came to live with us because we didn't want her outside in the freezing cold winter of 2012. Owners tried to take her back once but she ran back to us but never came after her again hence when her serious issues with the vets came up they said chip must be updated and told us how, old owners gave consent so she is now officially ours.

My strong suspicion: The guy has schizophrenia and psychotic episodes, gets medication for it, and has little insight in his condition. And I think reality is starting to catch up with him...

Psycho-Neighbour had a driving license. I write "had" because I think it might have been confiscated by the cops, followed by his motorcycle a few days ago. Basically his motorcycle had been stationary in front of the building for the last few weeks, getting no use at all, with some new parts fitted to the rear. Then it got used again for a few days 10 days ago. And then the motorcycle disappeared and the guy had to take public transport instead.
Last weekend they were unusually quiet, which usually happens when something goes catastrophically wrong, and there was an agitated phone call by Psycho-Neighbour in his usual LOUD fashion (i.e. comprehensible through the ceiling) where he mentioned that "they" only wanted to give "it" back if he underwent a medical examination because they had doubts about his abilities. Or face a several thousand Euro fine. No other options.
The bit about the fine is actually a tip-off. There are very few situations in my country where you can get such a fine for a offense that doesn't involve financial crime, illicit drugs or other serious crime. However, driving while you have an undeclared medical/psychiatric condition belonging to a very short list that can endanger other traffic participants is a reason for giving such a fine (and the exact amount happens to match), and for asking for a medical examination. Oh well...one less danger on the roads.

In other news, the plants they had on their balcony seem to have vanished.

A friend of mine also has a variation of schizophrenia, nowhere near as straining for the surroundings as him tho... but yeah, I can see that.
Taking your location literally, paired with the remark about the fine being in Euros, I assume you are from Denmark or the Netherlands?

Well that would explain... well all of it really. Probably thinks he's fine stops taking the medication, relapses back to crazy town and the cycle just repeats itself over and over.

Unfortunately it appears to be without, although that may be for the same reason as when he came to live above me: the first two months he seemed to be often absent while the parents were there for close to 100% of the time (so the parents prepare the apartment for him).
Curiously, with his parents absent almost the whole time he is quieter than when they are present every other week...which raises some hairy questions about the parents' role in their son's behaviour (I mean, if their potential presence serves as a trigger for weird and agitated behaviour... ). So it's mostly reduced to slamming doors for short periods of time and going very late to work and substance abuse elsewhere leading to him being sick/exhausted/whatever...

Last night, I couldn't get to sleep early because of insomnia that it wasn't until 3 AM that I finally managed to stop getting anxious over it and lose myself to the dreams. Part of it stemmed from taking too seriously a lousy reality tv show called Exatlon Estados Unidos in which my least favorite female competitor managed to squeeze into the final four. I won't be watching the grand finale tomorrow even if anyone else wins for my sanity's sake.

Sigh, this weekend P-N was back to his classic behaviour again  After some new neighbours spent all of Saturday to lay a new floor and had to make some necessary noise, he went berserk with crazy showers, crazy coughing, and crazy door slamming for the whole of Saturday evening, the whole of Sunday (I spent the entire day with headphones on listening to heavy metal, starting at 8.00 in the morning till 23.00 hours at night :um: and I still could hear him :cringe: ), and this morning for two hours straight. Result: Complaint #6.

Why can't I strangle the damn guy? :deskbang: ARghlblub...

I've just been rejected from a girl who i really loved, not only as a woman but as a person, and she was very well disposed towards me,but i lost the occasion by overthinking the approach, and making her into my "romantic friend",which is a fixation of mine. In the meanwhile, she got tired of my indolence.

I need to stop idealizing girls as princesses, and just get it on with them.
Oh, and falling in love with a person is an unbelievable drain of energy and time, please don't do it unless you are already in a relationship,so at least if something bad happens you will have something real to weep on.

Rant 1: My sister is interested in a very creepy guy who's 4 years younger than and he looks like Weird Al Yankovic. My parents are enabling my sister by letting her stay in contact with him. My sister is 23 and this creep is 19, btw. Last year the creep gave her a back massage wand for Christmas last year. They've also kissed a bunch of times too. Including the one time we just happened to be driving behind his parents' car and my mom saw my sister and creep making out in the backseat. And more recently my parents saw him kissing her at the bowling alley too. My sister isn't the brightest bulb. She's so dumb that she can't tell the difference between when a guy's horny and when he's excited. If I was in charge of my sister I'd force her to cut all contact with this creep.

Rant 2: My mom is embarrassing. She keeps wearing ugly clips in her hair which make her look like an old lady. She dyes her hair the same color it was when she was in high school. She carries a fanny pack instead of purse. Her car is a dwarfmobile. And she constantly bullies me about my weight.

Rant 3: Facebook keeps sending me friend suggestions for people I have no mutual friends with or people that I hate. Facebook sent me a friend suggestion for my ex's evil cunt girlfriend whom I hate. Almost gave me a mini panic attack.

Rant 4: My younger brother is an asshole who thinks he can control me. He had a drug problem earlier this year which I won't go into details about. His friends are all delinquents. One of them is currently in jail for trying to kill his psychiatrist. My brother also constantly threatens me on almost a daily basis and my parents tell me to just ignore it. It doesn't make me feel any safer knowing that my brother keeps knives in his room either.
