Here's the finished version of Sagisu's recording: https://youtu.be/a6gq6TDtBK8?t=3m25s (Spoiler: It's from his Xpressions album. Don't know why he's posting about it now but there you go.)

Im not so sure about that part... I can kinda see it as background tune for a compilation of Wille everyday life scenes or something similar to it

While I really love that tune to death (great, complex harmonization, reminds me a little bit of the amazing version of the victory fanfare of FFVII), I kinda feel like this prolonged version for Xpressions is kinda cheesy... Then again, it has a lot of character :)

Really looking forward to the new Cruel's Angel Thesis Edit by Masayuki. This guy is responsible for the tightest, most effective editing in all of Anno's filmography.
As exemplified by the reactions in Khara 2's tweet, this guy's sense of rhythm is next level.

Khara posted a link to this on their twitter this morning: http://www.khara.co.jp/recruiting/ New recruitment?
Someday I hope that we'll be reunited if that is what's destined to be. Perhaps we'll discover that elusive bible. And then we will finally be free!

It's what they already posted about once, new animators, 2D and VFX.
Shinji: "Sooner or later I'll be betrayed... And they'll leave me. Still... I want to meet them again, because I believe my feelings at that time were real."
Ryuko: "I'm gonna knock ya on your asses!"
-Asuka: THINK IN GERMAN!!! -Shinji: Öh... Baumkuchen...
Hayashida: "As game developers, our work is special. All of us here can put smiles on very many people's faces with our work."

I've read somewhere that pretty much the whole industry is pretty much booked out until 2020. Even Miyazaki had trouble recruiting enough artists for his new movie he wanted to be out in 2020 for the Olympics. Now, if such a prestigious workplace like Ghibli has trouble to find workforce, I kind of understand the multiple recruitment notices of Khara. This, or the scope of the movie exploded, lol.

Sounds to me like they're moving into another stage of the production process. Maybe they're starting to hire inbetweeners. Either way, it's a good sign the movie is moving steadily along in production.
Most animation work is freelance. You hire people for the one job and only when you need them. If the animation film takes two years to make but only needs a certain filled for six months then you hire for only that period of time. The production does have its core directors in each department who are on board from Day 1 & are probably under contract by Khara but there's no real reason to keep every person on board for the entire duration.

It reads to me as they were in one stage of production - boarding, early sound design, etc - and are moving onto the next stage and need more bodies or people with certain skills to handle the next stage of production.

All good news either way you look at it.

I un-ironically love how the saxophone bit in the middle sounds exactly like a day-time TV talkshow or gameshow. I guess with a series as bleak as Eva, these bits of cheesiness simply add to the amount of fun the main series dismisses after it "becomes serious."

I made a new OP for this topic with a recap of everything interesting that was shared since July 2017.

Looking at what khara posted in order I think I see a progression, and that's nice to see. Hopefully more to come soon with the lantern festival in August and hopefullyofficial announcements.

I'm still a believer in a trailer just showing up one day out of the blue.

Dito. No hints beforehand, just "oh yeah, we forgot to show you this... should have been out half a year ago, someone forgot the password for the account and everyone assumed it got posted" I actually lowkey hope for an announcement like this

July 29, 2018 - Third Impact dashes all hope of Evangelion: Final coming out. Casual EVA fans and hardcore Otaku alike chuckle at the irony of the situation.

July 29-Profit

Actually due to the pattern a date I'll pay attention to.

Anno will appear in something beer related on June 29th (I think) and khara reassure that it will not affect the works on Shin Eva.

Oh hey, that's a pretty cool design. Haven't we seen that in one of the draft works?
Someday I hope that we'll be reunited if that is what's destined to be. Perhaps we'll discover that elusive bible. And then we will finally be free!

It looks like proto Unit 01 but thinner. The frame itself is very "Jet Alone" mixed with the sunset of Bardiel in 2.0.

Coupled with philosophy.
And somehow they'll mix an Eva in there too.
Pretty insane.
