Wow! Great haul! As always, I'm just in love with the aesthetic of Evangelion packaging. Maybe it's just my everblinding love for Eva, but I feel like the packaging-quality is a notch above other franchises.

I love how the font looks! Is the Romaji-font included by any chance?

Thanks!

In case you don't translate for a living, you should seriously consider making it some kind of side-gig.
"Reichu's translation services."

Ooh, often for Yahoo Auctions, I don't need a full translation, but just simple questions answered like, "Is the seller selling me just the box?" So it'd be cool to offer that as a service as well, "Questions answered."

Hypothetically speaking, how much would you charge per line in the Another Cases translation? ^_^

I don't know, I feel like the Original I, II, III book covers look cool and the Mitsuo Iso book cover looks awesome,
but the rest of the covers look weird.

Like Iron Maiden 1 PS2 cover's head looks stretched.
The PSP character placement looks random.

It just feels like a random group shot. I feel the same way about Iron Maiden 2's PS2 and PSP covers.

View Original Postrobersora wrote:I love how the font looks! Is the Romaji-font included by any chance?

I assume it definitely is (can't verify it at the moment).

Included as well, is a neat six or so page booklet of the various fonts in Evangelion, and I guess they explain how they relate to the font one is buying.

Well I AM buying the same game multiple times since each Limited/Special edition has different extras packaged in,
on top of which, they change the game itself.

But if collapsing the duplicates, there's probably around ~20 to 30 games.
There's also that Gameboy Color Rei Mahjong game that I'm unenthused about getting.

Ahh, it gave me the warm and fuzzies to see that special edition PSP GoS box: I played that all the time in college (before I had to sell most of my Eva stuff when moving back home -o-; I made a point to keep my favorite Eva things, though—such as PS2 and PSP NGE2—so no worries there.) The PC versions of the GoS 1 and 2 games do have implied nudity/panty shots the Sony releases naturally censored, lol.

Really nice haul you have there, looks good! :asuka_thumbsup:

It's Eva. Does it need to have any canon ties? :D Picked up a couple of the Pachinko PS2 ports myself (1st 2 games here -
http://evavirtualmuseum.weebly.com/video-games.html) from Book Off for ¥500 each - One of my favorite Japanese stores.

Been knee deep in work for the last month, but this came in:
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

It looks to be another collection that reuses pictures from the Eva Collector's CDs,
though I need to double check if the Games are also from the Collector's CDs or original.

Some of the images didn't look familiar to me (like they're on the web, but I don't recall seeing them in the collector's cds), such as this one, but I might be wrong:
Image

Also this arrived as a "throw-in" and I expected it to be a strategy guide for an Evangelion video game.
Nope, it's an actual Eva card game. I'm floored by it, it looks great:

SPOILER: Show

And finally, I finally got a 100% NewType book:

I think mine was Carmine, can't recall.

So I've got 4 out of the 6 Shinji and Good Friends CDs:

As I'm collecting these somewhat rare Evangelion CDs, I'm wondering if there should be some kind of preservation responsibility I should take like uploading the ISOs to some kind of private archive. It's easy to think there's no way something as merchandised as Evangelion is rare, but I don't know ... I'm having somewhat of a difficult time collecting certain CDs, on top of misinformation.

Apparently the folks at the lostmediawiki have labelled the above CDs as lost:

I'm loving that you're supporting artists AR-99 by requesting commissions!

So I'm mostly continuing my venture into the Eva digital CDs/games/books world.

Furthermore, I won a bulk auction on a bunch of Eva books, which had like 16 Eva books/misc-items.
I'm only tackling like 5 of them here, will do the other 11 or so later when I figure out what the heck they are.

First up, I got the final two CDs to the Shinji and Friends set (spine-card/obi included!)
Image

This completes the set:
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Next up I got the Secret of Evangelion PC version.
I already have this one for PS2 & PSP, but I didn't know a PC version even existed.
I decided to get it in case it had any version differences/extras.
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Sure enough it comes with a postcard, what looks to be a mini mouse-pad, and a (I think) different manual.
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Next up, I bought the combo pack (bottom) variant of the separately released Rei & Asuka 3D packs (top two).
Image

I wanted to see if there was any different content, and sure enough, they added an extra content CD.
Image

The extra content are scenes of Rei & Asuka together.
Image

Next up, with stuff like Re-Take in my collection, I was like, why the heck not,
and so here are the PC releases of the two official Eva and good friends games.
The information online keeps mixing up these two games,
Lots of places don't even know the version on the right exists.
Left is "Eva and Good Friends"
Right is "Eva and Good Friends: The Stripping Instrumentality Project",
a sequel to the first. Technically they don't flat-out state it's a sequel but they do state it's not a rehash.
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image
Image

Also got the book that breaks down the art in the Eva and Friends stripping games,
and the same book also features scenes (which are much cleaner) from the Shinji and Friends games.
Image
(I've blacked out the NSFW pieces but heads up anyways because Kaworu still looks creepy).
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image
Image

Then there's the Evangelion clipart CD Vol 1.
I didn't bother checking for Vol 2 cause I assume Vol 2 might be a different franchise/anime.
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image

Thought the art on the CD looked cute:
Image

End of Evangelion theater pamphlet/"Red Cross Book."
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Evangelion Adam and Eva books:
I don't get these, they're just pictures of the men and women in Evangelion.
Maybe at the time on the internet not a lot of people had a scanner/digital-camera,
so this was the only way to enjoy pictures like this, in a book? * shrugs *
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image
Image

Evangelion Jo for the PSP:
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Ayanami Rei raising project 2001 PC version (next to DS Asuka variant which I already had):
(I'm now on the lookout for the 2003 PC version)
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image

Both Evangelion RPG books, though not sure how many there are in total.
Image
For those not familiar, the books have punch-out cards inside them,
and I imagine it's sort of like Dungeons and Dragons.
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image
Image

The book, 2015: The Last Year of Ryohji Kaji.
I got to say, the photographs of life-like Eva scenes in this are rather lovely.
Image
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image
Image

Evangelion Digital Gadget CD: Not sure where this is from, probably included with a magazine or something?
It's sort of like another collector's CD, with apps on it and wallpapers.
I need to check if the apps are unique or collected from other sources.
Image

Sadamoto digital art collection CD.
I wish I knew with what this was packaged, or if it was sold standalone.
Image
SPOILER: Show
Image
In and of itself, self-evident.

New merch at Wonder Fest.

Can't believe the DSS Choker at the beginning of this thread is a thing lol.
Want it.
Shinji: "Sooner or later I'll be betrayed... And they'll leave me. Still... I want to meet them again, because I believe my feelings at that time were real."
Ryuko: "I'm gonna knock ya on your asses!"
-Asuka: THINK IN GERMAN!!! -Shinji: Öh... Baumkuchen...
Hayashida: "As game developers, our work is special. All of us here can put smiles on very many people's faces with our work."
