That is indeed an interesting question. Partly because WILLE has every reason to be stumped about what to do with her because there's precedent that if she gets hurt, the Eva will go apeshit.

Exactly, Rei comes out instead of Shinji, ironically I can Fourth Impact happening quickly, that, considering that if Gendo would be sufficient ruthless to staye to her that if she pulls the spears, Shinji will come back...

But that is unlikely, as Rei wouldn't in no way go with a clone of herself.
