I'm surprised to see Cowboy Bebop so low, and Digimon Adventure so high. Cowboy Bebop is, after all, objectively a much better show, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

I am glad to find Urusei Yatsura on the list. A lovely classic.
Fuyutsuki did nothing wrong.

What bummed me out about the list was the lack of sway of our fellow Eva fans in Japan. Why weren't they stuffing the ballot boxes like the Love Live!! fans? Have we as a fandom lost our edge? They should have at least got Death and Rebirth in the top 5.

Seriously though, ditto what AS said about Joker's Game...it must have some really dedicated fan base for some odd reason. I do like that Rebellion ranked pretty well though; it's one of my favorites but I usually don't see it on lists like this.
I used to work in a factory and I was really happy because I could daydream all day -- I.C.
And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

I've heard of Tiger & Bunny, but only in name and a few character designs. Some friends of mine like it. I've never seen it.

When it comes to popular opinion polls, newer stuff naturally outranks older stuff. And that's understandable, people can't always afford to look back and see all of the material that came out before they were born or what have you in order to rank all of the anime ever into something more representable of the anime themselves. (As opposed to ranking the views' awareness of the available materials.)

EDIT: I've never seen the top 10 anime listed there outside of the first 3 episodes of Madoka, and I didn't particularly care for its preferences in narrative structure. There was way too much world-building and too little character development going on for me in that one. As a result, it made me feel like I had to be more aware of magic girl tropes in order to fully appreciate it. (AKA, "Oh, Madoka Kaname doesn't need any character establishment because she's clearly the ___________ type of character in this kind of story.") What little character interactions I did see made it seem like a moé-skinned The Devil and Daniel Webster, which wasn't a bad thing at all. The narrative focus just wasn't where I would have liked it.
